Great product, easy to install and man is it nice to have crispy trigger at 2.5lbs.
I ordered the pro kit from M carbo late last year and when it arrived I installed it as per the video instructions online. The shims provided removed the side to side play of the trigger and the new spring was noticeably lighter. However, the trigger pull was only about 20 ounces per my trigger pull gauge. Per the M carbo website, the spring sent was intended for bench shooting and my intent was to use this gun for hunting. I e-mailed M carbo about what I found and they promptly sent me a new complete kit that contained two springs, one a little heavier than the one sent in the first kit. I installed the heavier spring and now the trigger breaks crisply at 2 lbs. a significant improvement over the stock pull of 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. I have Timney trigger groups on all of my custom guns costing 10 times the M carbo kit and there is absolutely no difference. I would recommend this product for all Savage Axis rifles that do not have the Accu Trigger group.
Easiest fastest trigger job I ever did.
From the factory, my Axis 30-06 had a trigger pull so heavy that a smooth trigger pull was almost impossible. After installing the kit, the trigger is as smooth as butter, with a greatly improved trigger pull. I highly recommend this kit for anyone that owns an Axis.

Bought my wife the Youth Savage Axis in 243. The trigger was heavy to pull for her. Bought the Axis Trigger Kit after reading the reviews and watching the installation video. Had the kit installed in no time at all and it has improved the trigger pull. She is shooting much better with the lighter trigger pull. Thank You for the quick shipment of the product.
