All I can do is add to the outstanding reviews here. Living in the People's Republic of Commiefornia has many drawbacks. Fortunately, they haven't outlawed bolt action rifles yet. Building an Axis .308 with a Shaw barrel, MDT Oryx chassis and semi-decent glass that had a rock hard trigger. Didn't want to sink another $100+ into a fancy trigger since I'm not shooting competition and the wife was balking at the cost already. Anyway, this kit got here in near record time and 15 minutes on the bench and I've got a trigger that is smooth and crisp. Only downside is we got 3 feet of snow the day after it came and the range is a no-go for a while. I have no doubt that once the break in is done I will be pretty happy with the whole thing, trigger included.

Ordered a new spring kit for my .243 axis. The delivery came sooner than expected and the kit spring changed the trigger pull from 5.7lb to 3.7 lb. The kit also came with a 2.5lb spring and spacers to eliminate trigger wobble. I'm completely satisfied with this upgrade. Thanks Mcarbo , nice fit and upgrade.

The trigger pull on my savage axis was about 6 1\2 lbs and was causing me to pull to the right on my shots and after installing the spring kit it has improved my accuracy greatly very pleased.

The spring assembly arrived promptly. Easy installation and improved the trigger pull from 6 lbs down to 2.5 lbs, with an optional spring for 3 lbs. The two washers tightened the slop in the trigger nicely. Very happy with this product.

Such a good product. Reduces pull on the Axis trigger to a respectable 4.5 lb from 7lb pull. An inexpensive way to improve the trigger so my granddaughter can shoot tighter groups and have more confidence in her ability. Thank you M-Carbo!!!

I’d heard the savage axis had a several pound trigger pull but really wanted one to practice medium distance target shooting and I knew I’d have to find some way to reduce the pull weight. I did my research and got a recommendation from a friend to get the mcarbo trigger kit to adjust down to 3.5 to 2.5 pounds.

Kit is excellent! So simple and easy to install. I’m getting consistent two pound pulls every time.

Great product!

Clipped the trigger spring years ago when I got the gun, thought the trigger was pretty nice. Got this kit after a co-worker mentioned it to me. Figured for the money I couldn't lose, and I sure didn't. I used the 2.5# spring and the shins took out the side to side play. Absolute game changer, trigger is light and pull is crisp.

I was amazed at how simple the upgrade was to complete. 15 minutes and the trigger pull went from 6lbs to 2.5lbs. A trip to the range proved that the upgrade was totally successful.

Thank you!!

The U-tube video alerted me to the kit. Ordered one and it arrived quickly.

After one more review of the video I improved my trigger in less than 15 minutes.

Great investment for a firearm upgrade.

Well worth the cost!

I ordered the trigger for a friend. I just watched the the installation video and it was easy. His trigger was close to 6 lbs. and very sloppy with a ton of side play. The only thing I did a little different was after putting the shims against the trigger housing I came in from the rear of the housing. It was the easiest way to keep the shims in place. Took up the side play and reduced the trigger to almost 2 lbs. I used the lightest spring. I’m very satisfied with the trigger. A much better trigger than the stock axis trigger.
