I bought a Savage Axis a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the gun but hated the stock. I installed a Boyds at one stock and then decided to add a better trigger. I saw your trigger kit and thought I would give it a try. Great trigger kit that lessons the trigger pull and fixes the side to side wobble.
Don't care for savages but had this axis 25-06 hanging on wall for years. Got bored this winter so got it down and shot some with 2" 3 shot groups @ 100 yds the best I could do. Ordered trigger kit and installed in minutes thanks to video. One inch groups consistently even with 73 year old eyes and anticipating recoil. Guess I'll keep it for a while. Thanks guys
The instalation was easy . The results on the trigger are great. Haven't had to go try it out yet with live rounds. So far I'm very satisfied with y'alls products. And as a fellow veteran. Keep the march going. Hooah. P.S fixing to order a kit for my wifes .243

I just installed this kit on my savage as is chambered in 6.5 creedmoor bi have not had the chance to take it to the range yet but performing a function test of the rifle. I was amazed by how smooth just those few parts made the trigger

This kit was just what we were looking for. It was very easy to install, matter fact my 13-year-old boy did it with me watching over him. Makes the trigger pull significantly better. I was debating on getting the savage axis versus the axis II 6.5 Creedmoor. I’m glad I went with the original axis with this trigger kit.
I recently purchased a savage rifle for my daughter-in-law so she can go deer hunting with the family. The rifle itself is great but the trigger pull was too stiff. I ordered this kit after watching a video. The install was easy (and I'm not a armorer). The kit came with 2 springs. In 2 days we will go to the range so she can familiarize. If she doesn't like the first spring I can change it on the range in a few minutes. I was so impressed that I took business info to my local gun shop.
DUDE!!! If you own or purchase a Savage rifle this kit is a must, most weapons come from the factory with a trigger pull upwards of 5.50 lb/oz. The installation is a snap, if you are not sure how to install is check out the video. These guys produce some of the best "How To" videos out there. My rifle had a trigger pull of 5.96 lb/oz, after the kit installation it measured like 2.99 lb/oz. It was like a different gun. The quality of the kit parts is second to non. My next upgrade is the drop-in trigger.
If you own a savage rifle, you need this kit. I used the 3.5 lb spring, the trigger is soft, and smooth as glass. What a huge difference. The guys at mcarbo did their homework!!
