Excellent kit and very easy to install. Completely eliminated the sideways movement of the trigger and reduced the pull to 2.5Lbs.
After installing this kit, the trigger pull of my Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmoor is so much better. The gun went from unbearable to shoot with such a heavy pull weight compared to all of my other rifles to enjoyable again. Watch the installation video to make for a quick and easy installation.
Didn't take but about 10 mins to install and adjust. Trigger pull is so much lighter, but still firm. Highly recommend.
I purchased this trigger kit with confidence because I have bought several trigger kits for different firearms and they all work flawlessly. This reduced the pull about two pounds and with the shims taking out the excess play and it works great. Was looking for economic way to reduce the 6lb. factory trigger pull on my Savage Axis 223. Ordered a spring kit from M*CARBO. The kit had 2 pull weight springs. Watched their instillation video which was very helpful. Took about 10 minutes to install new spring. The trigger pull on my rifle is perfect. Best $20.00 I ever spent on a gun.
I bought a Savage Axis at the last minute before hunting trip because it was affordable. What can go wrong, right? The trigger was not what I was expecting - bad on me for not testing! Found this kit with a web search and got it with enough time to install and sight-in. It was a huge upgrade, like night and day difference! I love my Axis with this kit. It's a beautiful rifle that now shoots smoothly. Many thanks to M*Carbo for making something like this affordable!
Part arrived in a couple days. Installed the parts as instructed and everything fits and works as advertised. Trigger pull is smooth and even.
Ordered trigger spring with shims and delivery was fast and installed even quicker. Went from 6lbs of pull to about 2lbs of control.
This product works absolutely amazingly to lighten the trigger pull on your savage axis but my trigger still has side to side play in it even with the shims. The shims seem to have made no difference for play side to side in the trigger, but i am very happy with the spring upgrade!
The install is a breeze. This 20 dollar plus shipping upgrade makes an absolute turd of a rifle useable. My daughter could hardly squeeze the trigger beforehand. I couldn't get but a 3" group @ 100. With the trigger, down to 1.5". I see lots of these rifles for sale used. Instead of making a 2 to 300 dollar rifle upgrade, buy this.
As always the video made this a complete brezz to install. It did reduce the trigger pull but because of the gun design , it wasn't as noticeable as l had hoped. That said it is absolutely worth the time and minimal investment to do the upgrade. I would highly recommend to anyone who has this firearm to make the change.

If you are thinking about doing this upgrade please do so. My accuracy has gone up and it’s smooth as butter. Don’t waste time clipping a spring and not using a bolt..this is the way to go, I promise.

This invention is the best thing since sliced bread! The trigger on the Savage Axis need a few adjustments and it is good as a $300 trigger replacement for $20! I replaced it on the 6.5 creedmoor and my little shooter couldn't be happier! You got another faithful customer, always! Semper Fi!
