the 2.5 lb spring is really light I opted to go with the 3.5 lb spring , What a difference it made . I think it has improved the accuracy of the rifle. Very satisfied with this kit .
We bought a Savage Axas youth 7mm08 for my son to deer hunt with. After numerous disappointments at the local rifel range we decided the trigger pull was way too hard for anything over 50 yards. We looked at purchasing a new trigger assembly for the gun but this was not cost effective. Prices ranged from 100 to 300 dollars. We installed the pro trigger kit and were pleased with immediate results. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to boost an experienced youths confidence. The trigger saved me money by not having to purchase a new gun or trigger.
Easy to install and the trigger is so much better now. It’s a great mod.
Granted I could have scrounged up some similar parts and they may have worked. The M*CARBO kit is proven and complete. Installation was easy, no clearance issues in stock, trigger pull is less. Not sure how much but noticeable. Works for me.

Bought the Savage Axis in .223. Trigger was stiff and had wobble. Kit came in 3 days, easy 20 minute install after watching video. Parts are small and you must take care to line up shins. End result is great, wobble gone and trigger is much better. Highly recommend if you have an Axis!!
Install was simple enough and significantly lowered trigger pull weight and over travel is easy to set. Once the over travel screw was loctited with blue loctite and adjustment set I was very satisfied.
I ordered two of these kits for my Axis 270 & 223. They arrived within a week and I had them installed in 20 minutes. Watch and follow the video. Install the kits as directed and it's a piece of cake! I went to the range and both rifles are much nicer to shoot.
Installs easily, cut trigger pull in half and took out the slop. Customer was extremely happy with result
Hello good morning my dudes, Shipping was fast, easy install(YouTube vid available). Installed 3.5 Ib. trigger spring. Going to use this stand and stalk hunting. Didn't want too light of a trigger. No more side to side wiggle in the trigger. These guys make good products that are affordable. Most aftermarket parts are uber fancy, expensive and those qualities are not useful to me. I originally used the 2.5 spring (2 lbs. actual) but chose to switch it to the 3.5 spring (3 lbs. actual). The product works as stated and gives my Axis a new life. Installation was very simple. I used the printed instructions and the video.
Got the pro kit and it only took about 10 minutes to install the parts it dropped the trigger pull by almost half went from a little over 6 pounds to right at 3 so a great improvement and it is breaking very consistently
