Easy install and a great improvement over the stock POS Axis trigger assembly. Put it on a .223. Quick delivery, too. Should have bought this a long time ago!

Installation went fine after watching the install video. I could only get one washer in but that took care of the "slop". The hardest part was getting the wax out of the threads. A heat gun would of done it easier. Very impressed how easy (and cheap) it was to get better trigger action.
I have a new Savage Axis .223 REM. Installed the trigger kit in about 30 minutes. Use the video as you go along. It reduced the pull from about 6.5 lbs to about 3. This kits makes a great gun out of an entry level rifle. It’s worth every penny. Fast shipping!
Savage Axis install-Works perfect now, parts and installation very easy but DO NOT TEMOVE THE SAFETY SCREW INSTEAD OF THE CORRECT ONE in the video. I did and omfg it took 23 times to install and get the slide safety pin adjusted to where the trigger would stay on safe and not discharge. Watch the video while you install and it’s easy peasy and works awesome. I used the 2.5# spring and it is super light now. I may try the 3.5# soon ( comes w both) but I gotta send a few with this ultra light trigger- well done men.

Have a savage axis for a budget varmint and predator rifle. Have been happy with the accuracy of the rifle, but the overly heavy trigger weight is awful and makes it too easy to pull shots. Was going to upgrade the trigger, but that throws the whole "budget rifle" out the window. Came across this kit, read the reviews and decided that for $20 it was worth a try. I am 100% satisfied since install. Pull is light and crisp, no more overpull and side to side slop is greatly reduced. The 2.5lbs spring may be a bit light for comfort if you plan to walk and stalk with your rifle, in which case the 3.5lbs might be better, and is still leaps and bounds over the factory set up, but mine is primarily for perching up in one spot for long periods of time, so it will be perfect. Highly recommend!
After comparing prices with the Timney kit, this was a no-brainer. Took me longer to go the garage and find my tools than it did for the actual installation. YouTube video makes it as easy as it gets. Swap the springs, install the travel stop screw, put the trigger back in place with the two shims...and that's all it took to turn a mediocre rifle (at best) into a shooter!
I just installed the Savage Axis Trigger Pro-Kit and the trigger pull is amazing. Lighter trigger pull, very little creep, no over travel and much less wobble. Worth every penny. This is probably the best money you could spend on an Axis.
Kit is easy and quick to install. The 3.5 spring is all you will need for hunting and if you ever need to switch the springs to the lighter one it can be done in just a few minutes
Eliminates any wobble on your trigger and light as a feather. Closed up groups to a nickel at 100 yards! Using the 3.5 option on the spring as this is used for hunting. Very impressed with the performance and difference is night and day! My wife wants one for her rifle now too! 6.5 creedmoor in the 10 ring.
The stock axis trigger spring is so stiff and has so much wobble that I would dare say a sub par to average marksman would not be able to shoot a sub MOA group with this gun as advertised for the rifle, the second I pulled the trigger after the kit was installed it was a world of difference and makes me 10x’s more confident in the rifle! I had some SERIOUS shipping issue that were 100% due to FEDEX and had nothing to do with mcarbo because it was out of their hands, they did everything possible to ensure I would be taken care of and I appreciate it greatly, DO NOT USE FEDEX, it took them 18 days to get me my package when I paid for 2 day shipping
