Upon receiving the Mcarbo Savage Axis Trigger Kit Pro I was able to easily install it in about 15 minutes. The kit delivers on it's promise to lower the pull weight and tighten up the play of the trigger assembly. My trigger is now smooth and crisp with no detectable overtravel. Well worth the money.
I bought this for a first gen Axis project to see what all I could get out of the rifle. I was very impressed with the improvement in smoothness with this kit. Went from 6.5lb trigger pull to 3.5lbs.
Easy to install and a must have from a great company
Ordered a Mcarbo spring kit for a Savage Axis. Received it in two days. Installation was very simple. The difference in pull was incredible. Pull prior to the installation of the Mcarbo the pull on three test were was 2 lb 9.9 oz, 3 lb 1.2 oz, and 2 lb 14.2 oz. After the Mcarbo spring kit the three test pulls were 1 lb 10.0 oz, 1 lb 5.0 oz and 1 lb 7.0 oz. No creep or take up in the trigger, no over travel and the trigger breaks like glass. Just unbelievable, over 40% reduction in trigger pull. I plan on ordering several more various spring kits from Mcarbo. Thanks Mcarbo.
The difference in trigger pull is incredibly noticeable. Hands down the best trigger pull I have on any firearm I own now. Oh and installing the spring and screw was about one of the easiest installs I’ve ever done. Thanks for the thorough install video!

After watching the how to install the axis pro to my 350 legend. It changed my triger pull from 5.5 lbs. To 3.5. Perfect pull crisp and clean.
This trigger kit took about 15min to drop in. It feels like a completely different gun. Very smooth and clean break. Honestly feels less than 3lb. I'm gonna be adding these kits to every gun in my collection that they make them for. For $25 it has to be one of the best bang for the buck upgrades available. Their installation video was also straight to the point.

I just installed a MCarbo trigger kit in my Savage Axis. I opted for the 2.5 lb trigger and it made a lousy trigger into a awesome one. Thanks MCarbo I now have a great gun
In my previous kid's rifles, I changed out the trigger. I think it was $150... plus another $75 to change out the trigger. Anyway, I was trying to find a better way. This is IT. For $20 bucks, we changed out the springs and it lowered the pull from 6.5# to 3#. It may not be a Timney trigger, but for $20 bucks. This is an awesome option. Highly recommend.
Instructions were easy to follow and only took a few minutes to accomplish. I used the 3.5 spring. I would be scared of the 2.5 spring as the 3.5 is a very light and easy pull. This pull honestly reminds me to keep finger away from trigger until ready to fire, it is that easy. On the old trigger I generally pulled the rifle because it was so hard to pull. The M*Carbo trigger kit with 3.5 spring makes my new Savage Axis Muddy Girl Serenity a fun and easy shooting rifle. I was about ready to sell it when I ran across a video explaining this kit and decided to try it. I am NOT selling it now!!!! Thanks M*Carbo!!
This trigger mod. worked great on my rifle. Turned a very heavy trigger pull into a very nice and smooth pull. Would highly recommend this modification!
Installed the kit in my 223 Savage the same day that i received it. Very easy install. I guessed 2 lbs pull. My bad I ordered a trigger gauge 1-1/2 LBS. pull. Nice!
This was an unexpected pleasure, it installed in less than a half an hour and provided a smooth consistent 2 lb pull from the original 4.4 lb. If you have a Savage Axis and do not install this kit...... you won't really know how good your trigger can be with so little effort. What I would call a "NO BRAINER!"
