this is a inexpensive,must have part for the sub 2000.its a easy install and should be one of the first buys.another great experience from the mcarbo brotherhood. Thanks again for the great service to the whole team.

Will make a big difference in felt recoil. Think about the mass of steel being pushed back against the little piece of plastic. The plastic can not cushion the shock of the bolt slamming against it. The rubber buffer will absorb some of the shock. It will make a difference.
With the sub2k being nearly all polymer and a direct blowback system, mitigating the recoil will make the gun a much better shooting experience, especially with how the gun is designed and your cheek really has to be pressed low on the buffer tube. This is a must have, along with the rest of the Mcarbo recoil reducing parts like the recoiless charging handle and the muzzle break. I also added the heavy bolt upgrade from kel Tec to my sub2k chambered in 40.

I got the recoil buffer a few weeks ago. I had not had the opportunity to shoot until 3 days ago and wow what a difference. I shoot a Kel Tec Sub 2000 Gen 2 in .40 and because I dont get to go out that often, I can really feel it after I do but not this time. I think I may even be able to get my wife to shoot it now. You take or leave its 9mm how much recoil do you have. But it does work.
This plus the full sized brake has my sub2k shooting like a dream. Recoil feels like a little 4month old baby kicking your shoulder 😆
Simple install. If you can't install this, you don't need it...you will never figure out how to install a magazine. This does reduce the wear, much as a buffer in a 1911.
While the initial recoil was not that bad, there was a notable difference between shooting as is and with the buffer. Due to the ease of install and benefit, I recommend this buffer.
I installed the Recoilless Charging Handle and the Recoil Buffer this morning and took it out for a quick test. Very nice . They lessen the felt recoil enough to make it easy to get back on target fast. Great products as always.
I ordered this for my 9mm sub 2000. the recoil wasn't bad to begin with, but every little bit helps. this product gave a noticeable difference in the recoil.
There wasn't much felt recoil to begin with but I decided to give it a try since I was already purchasing a few other upgrades. There is a noticeable reduction in felt recoil. Does not negatively affect the functionality of the Sub-2000 and still allows you to lock the bolt open. Thanks M*CARBO for all of your great products.
This type of buffer is a gimme for quick installation and to help minimize pounding on the stock buffer end. Nice, simple design, and does still allow charging handle locking -- some other after market ones you have to trim down to get that functionality.
No matter what upgrade you're looking for, add this to your list. 30 second install noticeable difference - really a no brainer enhancement.
