easy install, no problems with the charging handle locking back or the rifle cycling. I'm not sure if it reduced the recoil as I have a butt pad installed to keep the plastic butt from digging into my shoulder.
Felt recoil has been reduced. Easy installation and worth the money. Thanks again for really fast service. Waiting on that scope mount to go into production.
I installed the Recoil Buffer at the same time I installed the Bolt Tube Cover. If I can do this, anyone can do this, trust me. I have not had the chance to go to the Range and shoot yet, but hopefully in a day or two I can and maybe I will do a second follow up. The installation went very smooth, the video's are second to none in my opinion. I like the rubber tube, it keeps your face away from the hot metal tube when I am at the range in the hot Florida sun. The instructional video was easy for me to follow and do a step by step disassembly and most importantly, REASSEMBLY. I got it right the first time, really it was as easy as 1, 2, 3.

This little washer really surprised me as it did much more than I thought it could. I put it in my SUb2000 this morning, which took maybe two minutes , Then I went shooting to the range this afternoon and went through about 200 rounds. It really removed the chin jarring jolt that use to be there without this little cushion washer. No rattle jaw or sore shoulder at all. Good job MCARBO.
I recently purchased a Gen 2 Sub2K and this was 4 of 4 modifications made to the rifle before its 1st range event. Installation of the recoil buffer was fast and easy! Additionally, watch MCarbo's videos for their easy to follow directions. The Sub2K has a violent cyclic rate because of its direct blow-back design. This little red life saver does its job at reducing felt recoil. However, it does not eliminate it! The shooter will still feel the sharp pulses into the shoulder. The recoil pad does well at slowing down the bolt before it slams against the hard plastic buffer. I'm very satisfied with this recoil pad and I strongly recommend all Sub2K owners install one!
