Less rattling of the Buffer spring
I compared the gun pre/post install, and this $9 part did tame the recoil a bit. Totally worth it.
Buying this little cover makes a nice difference. The shipping was fast and mcarbo is attentative to every order.
Since adding this I must say its definitely a big difference in felt recoil and easier to get back on target.... everything thing counts!!!! Easy installation is a PLUS as well
I wanted to try this to see if it made any difference. Let me say that I am 83 YO. I installed it and discovered that it made the spring just enough stronger that I could not charge the gun. I then took it out and am now able to charge it , I would say if you think it might help by all means get one and try it. Good luck
I bought this along with the recoilless charging handle for my 9mm Sub2k. The combination of the two products together did what I wanted it to do: the gun holds better with the added weight, cocks easier with the larger knob, reduces recoil noise, and it took the sharp bite out of the recoil.
Reduced felt recoil, as described. I have no way to actually measure, but it was noticeable. Installs in seconds. High quality urethane has stood up to at least 1,000 rounds thus far with no deterioration. Fast shipping, excellent customer service, and high quality parts is all MCARBO KNOWS!
This is exactly what you need to quickly and easily reduce the felt recoil from the sub 2000. My first impression of the sub 2000 was less than stellar as the felt recoil was really uncomfortable. After installing this buffer I was amazed at the level of reduction.This little item really did the trick and was well worth the price.
Me and a few buddies fired my 9mm Gen 2 sub 2k and let me tell you each one of us noticed a huge difference post install. Recoil reduced significantly and each one of us was able to get back on targer way faster than before. This is a MUST for any sub 2k. MCARBO as always was amazing and great customer service.

Make sure at add heavier charging handle at least to assist the bolt reduce speed. Or heavier bolt. But I trust the veterans design. Something better than nothing.
Duh this part is so cheap and easy to install, no excuse why you wouldn’t want it to cut recoil, then matched with the buttstock pad and the muzzle brake, then you’ve pretty much made the gun have no recoil... shoots effortlessly ... keep up the great products!!!
Just got it in the mail today along with the recoilless charging handle. Installed in less than 3 minutes because I was overly cautious in following all directions. Can't wait to take it to the range. Thank you.
