Very easy to install and very excited to take my sub 2000 to the range with all the upgrades I did.
This is just what I was looking for. This little jewel helps to reduce felt recoil and protects the buttstock from the bolt carrier constantly slamming into it. The installation went as described in the video. The videos are great as I do best when I can see how the parts are supposed to fit. The description of the installation are very detailed also. Great high quality part.
I installed the buffer along with the recoilless charging handle and found them effective in reducing experienced recoil. I also bought the buffer to try and protect the spring and bolt. Time will tell how well that happens but it has to be better than what comes originally. It's a good part and I'd recommend it.
Easy to install and it really makes a noticeable difference. I also installed a recoilless charging handle and the Sub is just amazing now
Awesome product super fast shipping! Definitely helps with the recoil.
Another quality product! Cant beat the warranty and the super fast shipping!
My order was shipped fast. Very quick and easy install. When installed with sleeve and recoiless charging handle, felt recoil is greatly reduced.
Great design, easy install, and truly works well to reduce felt recoil. Must have.
Combined together with the other pieces for reducing recoil, this really helped smooth out the cycling of the weapon. For under 10$ you can't beat it.
I am very pleased once again, while other companies make excuses Mcarbo just gets the job done!
Ordered a part for my newly acquired Kel Tec Sub 2000. Let me see if I have this right: Good prices, American owned by veterans, manufactured in the USA, lifetime warranties, made in gun friendly Florida, and shipped promptly. I thought I was dreaming. I stand and salute you.
I got the buffer and had quite a few stove pipes out of 150 rounds. I took it out and zero, none out of 150 rounds. The spring was getting hung up on the buffer, or at least that’s my guess. I installed the heavy bolt and then super glued to buffer to the plastic buffer and had one piece of brass get clipped by the bolt but no FTE or FTF. It makes a bit of a difference but the charging handle, the heavy bolt and bolt tube cover I would but first.
I did not think the little gun had harsh recoil to begin with so I was not sure if it was worth a try. I really can not say it helped but it sure did not hurt.
This carbine had a little bit of a kick when cycled. This small little piece took a little bit of that edge off. Easy to install. The $10 price point is a bit much for what it is. Honestly you could probably improvise this same piece. To be fair I've spent $10 on far less useful things. Supporting a American Company with Made in the USA products is important to me. Thanks.
Recently I bought my sub-2000 and it had more recoil then I expected. So I bought this recoil buffer and found that indeed the buffer made a noticeable reduction in felt recoil. I followed the installation video and it only took me a few minutes to install the buffer. This was a fast, easy, and inexpensive upgrade to my sub-2000.
Did all recoil upgrades together. Made shooting enjoyable with this firearm. Helps a bunch with the .40
