Bought 2 sets of these trigger Springs put 100 set one bench set love them both much easier to put in then I thought took about 8 minutes awesome product glad I found you guys plan on buying more stuff
It only took 9 days for the kit to travel around the world. from u.s to denmark And after i fitted the kit the trigger has been completely sublime. And the rifle has finally become what I wanted it to be!! Thanks and keep up the good work
This kit shortens up the trigger pull and has lightened up the trigger. Don't have a scale but kit has helped.
This kit made the trigger on my 300 Win Mag the best it could possibly be. For a budget rifle and the low cost of the kit I didn't expect a trigger like I have now. Easy install with the aid of the YouTube video. Great customer care with follow up emails to check that everything arrived and went well with install also.
Just installed the replacement trigger springs on my Compass. Went from crappy to very nice. Great product and very helpful video made installation straight forward. Thanks again !
I was very impressed with the trigger spring kit for my TC Compass. I used the lighter 1.5 pound spring. A huge improvement over the factory springs. Passes the bump test with no problem.
Factory trigger unacceptable. This kit is easy to install. Thankful for the option of a hunting weight trigger as well as a target trigger option. Most of the time I will utilize the heavier option but on prairie dogs I will put in the lighter spring. Great product. Fast shipping. Exceptional service.
followed the installstion video and reduced trigger pull by 2lbs. 2oz. was fairly easy to do with the help of the video
I installed one kit so far in my 308 Compass and it's reduced the trigger pull from a crisp 6.50-6.75lb pull to a crisp 3.25-3.50lb pull. It's a safe pull too, when i drop tested the rifle with this weight of pull I have had no accidental discharges when repeatedly dropping the rifle butt onto hard tile from 1 ft. with snap caps. I've even bounced the rifle off of hard tile repeatedly letting the rifle bounce up and down several times pushing the rifle butt with force onto the tile. I did change one thing on the installation, I left the bottom 1/4" nut on the over-travel screw and used red fingernail polish to lock the nut and screw into the trigger. I did remove the two top 1/4" nuts as the installation video suggested for the lightest trigger pull. I haven't yet test fired the rifle with this setup with live ammo as I want the fingernail polish to set hard before I test it.
Package arrived a couple days ago. Installed the springs yesterday. Pull went from 5.8 to 2.4 and is nice. I can't wait to shoot it. A cheap rifle but real shooter, already had a 3 shot group .6 MOA at 100 yards! P.S. Will ordering 597 kit soon and thanks for install videos, make it a breeze!
I just installed four different kits using the "Hunter" spring, removed top nuts, and polished the sear and trigger. I'm pretty decent at trigger work, but the best I could do was 3.5lb with creep with shims, filed springs, etc. Also, took me easily 2hrs of work and adjusting. I put a spring kit in including polishing the sear and trigger in 20 minutes. Three broke at 3 1/8lb and one at 3lb on my RCBS spring scale. Only one had a tiny little red hair of creep...the 3lb. Polishing allowed no difference in pull weight compared to lubrication...lubrication collects dirt and debris so polish the surfaces.
Kit install was easy , results were good with the hunting spring . I would probably use the bench rest spring if I was going to be the only person handling the rifle . Well worth the price.
Took a week to arrive, OK, it's USPS. The installation took about 20 minutes which included my taking the time to polish the sear. I used the 'Bench-Rest' spring. My trigger measured a solid 5 lbs before and after the install, it's down to a crisp 2.5 lbs. Not sure what the 'hunting' spring would have brought it down to or if I'll see any improvement after shooting it a few times, but, I can live with 2.5 lbs. I am a little disappointed in one thing, for $20 I would think you guys could include a tiny tube of the grease you use in the video, just saying. The video is Very helpful, thank you. Until someone actually makes an after market trigger, I will certainly recommend this kit.
I can tell you first hand TC compass came in with 6.5lb trigger factory set at minimum no way to adjust with this kit was able to get down to 3.5 which is perfect and crisp.Makes a world of difference highly recommend
T/C Compass Utility in .270 Win. Factory pull on mine was about 5 1/4 lbs. Followed the video and now I have a smoother trigger with about a 3 1/2 lb pull. I used the 1 1/2 lb spring but it is not that low. I would have preferred closer to a 2 lb but it is better and feels like a nicer trigger. It was worth the money.
