Just installed the kit in my TC Compass .308 What a difference. I have not tested what the poundage is but from the feel it is night and day I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor in the same model so compared the two. The .308 is light and crisp where the 6.5 is heavy and hard. Fixing to convert my 6.5 Creedmoor as I am writing this AWESOME PRODUCT
Reviewed the install video and played and paused during the install Very good instructions and install went smoothly. Trigger is light and crisp. First two rounds out of the 35 Whelen barrel at 100 yards in the same hole. Very pleased
Changed my trigger springs out with the McCarbo reduce trigger pull kit for the Thompson Center Compass . Installed the 1 1/2 lb. spring set . The original pull weight was 4 1/2 lbs. after installing the MC kit it was 3.9 lbs . Don't waste your money .
Great product. Made a big difference compared to factory.
The spring kit worked great and I have a <1.5 Lb trigger now. Installation was easy, especially if you use the Youtube video. You won't be disappointed in this product.
ordered your spring kit off your website.. I want to say your site was easy to use and you got my ordered shipped and delivered fast. Your product is well marked and shows the springs to use for what functions desired.. took 4 days to have product in hand counting the day I ordered it! Great product and glad I came across your website.. thank you for your service as well being a company ran by veterans.. thank you your new Utah customer
Awesome!!! Thank You M-CARBO! The kit took approximately 15 minutes to install. Wow Trigger was Heavy. After the kit was installed its amazingly lite with hardly no creep.
If you have a compass rifle you will want the spring kit. I wish all my guns had a trigger this nice.
amazing what a huge difference in the pull. I got 1 pound 6 ounce 5*
Works great for light trigger tension which is essential for long distance Target shooting and hunting
Fast shipping. Easy install. Definitely helped the trigger.
i have bused this product on 3 different Thompson Center Compasses. First was mine in 6.5 Creedmor it went from 6 lbs of pull to 2.25 lbs and I consistently shoot 3 shot groups under 1.25", next was one in .243 Winchester and it improved to 3.5 lbs. and the 3rd was one in .308 that improved to 4lbs. all were different but all made the trigger pull much smoother and more manageable. I have used other trigger kits for other platforms from M Carbo with similar success.
I ordered this trigger spring kit for my TC compass and I must say, the installation was not difficult at all and it really improved the trigger pull as advertised . The springs are of very good quality and they are clearly labeled as to were there to be installed . I will most definitely be buying other kits for my other projects.
I installed the M Carbo kit today. Straight forward as the video shows. Mine consistently broke between 5 lb 12.5 oz-6 lb. 12 oz. A whole POUND difference between pulls on the Digital Lyman trigger pull gauge. After the install of the Target trigger, it was a very consistent 1 lb 12 oz-1 lb 14 oz. A MUCH more CONSISTENT pull varying only 2 tenth of a pound over 5 test pulls. Great Job M Carbo for such a great product !!!
Just installed spring kit on a Compass stock trigger set to lightest setting was 7 lb 1.6 oz after install pull went to 2 lb 5.1 oz (using same trigger gauge you used in video )
