The results are beyond awesome ! It is easy and you could also go back to the 7 lb pull if you wanted . In my opinion follow all the video instructions included removing all the nut for the over travel adjustment . If you leave the bottom nut on for over travel adjustment you will loose out the full effect of the mod . Adjust the over travel and apply the blue lock tight.
Excellent trigger kit that makes a world of difference. An inexpensive and absolutely must upgrade for a great rifle. Shipping was done quickly. The video was very helpful and easy to follow. The installation was relatively simple. I did not check the trigger pull weight of the original trigger system so I can't say how much better it is, but it is definitely better. The trigger kit comes with two sets of springs; one for hunting and one for range shooting, I put in the range spring which is supposed to result in a lighter trigger pull weight. The video link provided with the instructions says the trigger pull was reduced to just over a pound, and you can see in the video the trigger breaks very quickly. However, on the rifle I modified, the trigger pull weight after modification was 3.5-4 lbs. I added some oil to the sear and it reduced to 2.5 lbs. The trigger modification was much better, but still not great.
Install was very easy with YouTube instructions. High quality parts and performs flawlessly.
My T/C Compass factory trigger pull was 5.5 lbs when measured with a Wheeler Trigger Pull Scale. After installing the Benchrest main spring kit, the trigger pull was exactly 2.5 lbs. The kit was easy to install, but watch that small spring!! Lighter trigger pull makes accuracy easier for me. I am much happier with my rifle.
This kit is awesome! Very easy to install. I tried a different kit first but it wouldn't pass the drop tests until adjusted to 3.7lbs. This kit gave me an average of a 3lb pull and passed every drop test I performed, and it feels great!
What s great kit. It did what they said it was suppose to do. Dropped the trigger pull from over 5 pounds to about 2.7. Perfect. Easy to install in about 10 to 15 minutes. Thanks MCARBO for a great protect. From Dave.
I loved the price point and most features of the T/C Compass in 6.5. The trigger was supposed to be adjustable but was not. It would cause me to pull some shots and groupings wouldn't be good. The new springs have significantly lowered my pull weight and increase groupings. Easy to install and an awesome upgrade for 20 bucks.
To start off I had emailed several weeks prior to ordering the kit. I questioned when it would be available as it was currently out of stock and if it would pass the “drop test” when installed. To my surprise the following day I had a reply (great job!) that it would be back in stock in a week and yes it passes the “drop test”. I received my package several days after ordering (fast shipping) and was a kid on Christmas. Seems like they went above and beyond. I got my spring kit, a letter of the company’s creed and goals, several stickers and a coupon code for a percentage off of my next order. The installation went well due to the excellent video on YouTube. Outstanding product! The reduced pull and crispness with no overtravel matches that of a high dollar trigger. I put this trigger spring kit in my T/C Compass.It was easy as putting on your shoes.I used the target spring and it went 1.4 on the trigger gage.I give it 5 Stars.Also got shirts and they are awesome to.Will buy from M*Cargo again Thank you very much.
After contacting Mcarbo about my extremely heavy trigger on my new T/C Compass they jumped right on the task at hand. The notified me once they had a kit developed and sent me a video of their results. I ordered the kit which was very simple to install. Now I have an amazing trigger. I'm very pleased with this product and highly recommend it for anyone who owns a T/C Compass rifle. If you have any desires to improve any other weapons you may own don't hesitate to call Mcarbo.

Purchased T/C Compass Spring Kit. Tried hunter spring first. went from 6.1 trigger pull to 4.5. Tried Bench Spring next went from 4.5 to 2.6 lbs. which I really like. I purchased 6 of these kits and have installed 3 at this point. Each rifle varied just a little bit. Yes I am recommending these kits to my friends.
I purchased and installed this kit in my T/C 6.5 Creedmor. The trigger was advertised as adjustable and 4 1/2 lbs. I "adjusted" the factory trigger as low as it would go and it was in the 5 lb range avg. After installing the M*Carbo trigger kit I am now pulling about 2 lbs 6 ozs. (Average). The accuracy in the 200 + yard range is unbeleivably different. My groups shrunk an average of 2 1/4". I am consistently shooting groups in the 1 1/2" range at 200 yards everytime. I recommend this product to anyone who is experiencing accuracy difficulties on the range with their T/C Compass.
Received the T/C Compass trigger spring kit and installed the Hunting Use Main Trigger Return Spring. Easy to do thanks to the nice install video. I did 5 before and 5 after trigger pull weight tests using the same tester as they used in video. See the upload for the results. Giving 5 stars and will amend if needed after going to the range and shooting groups. Don’t think I’ll need to thought.
