I only recently heard about Mcarbo and their spring kits and since the trigger on my sons Compass was average at best, I decided to order the kit from Mcarbo. Email communication with Mcarbo was superb and so is the installation video for the springs. I just finished installing the kit (I used the Hunting spring) and in a matter of a few minutes the trigger was transformed from a heavy 5lbs to a crisp and clean 2.6lbs. Wow! I am more than pleased.
After viewing the Youtube video I decided to purchase the spring kit. It looked like something I can do. The service from M*CARBO was just great and the shipping was fast. Their emails after were very nice and showed another level of customer service. The kit came with two trigger springs, one for bench rest and one for hunting. My new Compass had a trigger weight of over 6 pounds. The pull was hard, rough and gritty. Replacing the springs was not hard at all. The toughest part was trying to hold onto the parts with Teflon lube on my fingers. The lube worked great and helped smooth the overall trigger pull. The end result was a trigger pull of about 1 ½ pounds, I used the bench rest spring. As a Vet I enjoy spending my money with other Vets and their companies. Good kit, easy installation. Video is excellent and the kit included two trigger springs to give a choice of light or extra light pull.
The order showed up within 3 days. Installation was easy thanks to online installation video. MCARBO has the best product and customer support. Just ordered kits for my Remington 11-87, and Glock. Can't wait to do the Glock mod!
Easy install worked as described.Used on 22-250 and 6.5 Creed one Hunter spring and other target definite improvement in pull and consistency.Good company and will purchase again.

This spring kit made a big difference in my Compass rifle. The trigger feels much better and I have no doubts when I fire it, it'll be exact. I polished up all the trigger group and lubed it with the grease and I couldn't be happier. Not TOO light, but feels like a comp trigger for much less. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Install was easy with the YouTube video, so don't be intimidated taking it apart, it's not complex.
The benchrest spring took it to 3.5#. Not quite what I was expecting but still better than factory.
Rifle was a bargain and shot pretty well out of the box (1 1/2" group @ 100 yds), but the trigger pull was quite heavy at about 7 pounds and could not be further lightened despite what the literature said. Not fun to shoot as I had to work at squeezing off a consistent shot every time. Found M Carbo online and bought the spring kit on a whim, either fix the trigger or sell the rifle. The kit shipped the first day off backorder, arrived quickly, and installed in 30 minutes with the first 15 minutes spent watching the video. So far. an excellent experience. Trigger pull dropped to about 3 pounds and maintained a pretty good feel. I tried a limited drop test, bumping rifle on hard floor with no problem. Using cheap factory ammunition, I can now consistently make two rounds almost touch and a third less than an inch off the other two and slightly to the right, shooting in quick succession. Much easier and fun to shoot. This kit has to be the best accuracy improvement bargain I have come across. Congratulations to M Carbo, they have far exceeded my expectations.
Very fast shipping, Ordered on an Sunday Night, shipped out Monday Morning and in my Mailbox Thursday afternoon. doe not get any faster. Very nicely packaged and labeled. Now of install and function. I installed exactly as show in their videos. Simple and very straight forward. Note: The video shows using some Superlube type crease, it is not included int eh package. I had my own so, not needed. I did and do appreciate the two different calibrated main trigger springs. Nice to be able o shoot bench rest and also have a little heavier trigger for walking through the brush. N ow how well did it function, right on the money. super crisp and very light trigger pull. A tremendous improvement over the factory trigger. My son has a T/C Compass too and I am willing to bet he is going to want to change over to this trigger, after he shoot my rifle. Best $20, I have spent.
ordered 4days later have them in my t/c compass...long way from being a Smith,but had it installed in 45 minutes went from 6.5 to 3.5 will order from these guys again Ed
As soon as I received the kit I installed it.What a difference. The gun is is gun is for my grandson and he is learning that accuracy comes with a good trigger. This was an inexpensive gun and a inexpensive trigger job. The gun went from shooting good to great for my grandson. Thanks Bill

I installed the trigger kit in my tc compass and used the synthetic grease. With the bench rest shooting spring I am getting 3lbs I was hoping to get 2.5lbs or less. This is a big upgrade from what I had.
Super easy install, followed the video step by step. Nice crisp kit with the bench rest spring set. I would have liked to see the super lube and a little tube of loc-tite included, and would have been happy to pay a couple bucks more for that whole kit. I’ll be looking for other kits now!
Got my spring kit super quick. Installation was simple and quick after watching the tutorial a couple of times. I thought the 2 1/2 pound spring would be a better chice than the lighter 1 1/2. After trying the trigger pull I went back and used the 1 1/2 pound spring. By my trigger weight it is about 3 1/2 pounds. A large improvement over the factory 6 pounder! Group size has shrank tremendously!
