Sure you can clip the current springs but why? Really... as cheap as this is and the results you get along with the guarantee and safety why diy it when this is tried and true??? I’ve purchased many of these for different platforms and this one was the best so far. Will continue to spread the word and buy these products. Buy with confidence!

I have a TC Compass chambered in 308 Win, with the factory trigger springs I was getting just over a 7 lb. pull. I adjusted the trigger setting to the lowest it go and it was still just shy of 5 lbs. I was looking for a trigger fron Timney when I found this spring kit and man am I happy I ordered it. I installed the BR main spring and it dropped to 1lb 14oz of pull on my Lyman Trigger pull guage. AMAZING!! It has turned my gun into a tack driver now that I'm not having to use a come along to pull the trigger! Thanks MCarbo for an amazing product! You have just added another lifelong customer!

Amazing results!!!

Was searching online for an aftermarket trigger for my .308 TC Compass. The stock trigger was satisfactory overall (hey, you get what you pay for) however, being used to high end trigger systems was hoping for a lighter and more crisp release. After watching a video regarding MCarbo’s spring kit I decided to give it a try. Wow! It more than exceeded my expectations! After installing the new springs step-by-step while watching the awesome installation video the mediocre stock trigger became on par with a competition trigger! If you have a Compass and want to make a huge improvement to the overall functionality of the trigger don’t hesitate to get this spring kit! You will be amazed!

When I first got the kit and installed it for a friend of mine I was really disappointed, even with the bench rest spring I couldn't get the trigger to break at less than 4.5#! My first reaction was to fire off a complaint . I then took everything apart and put it back together without any spring on the overtravel and it was STILL breaking at 3.5#! Closer examination revealed a small burr on the contact point of the trigger. A small amount of polish, some patience, and buffing disc on a dremal and I had the trigger breaking like glass with under 2# on the hunting spring. I added a couple flat washers to get 2.5# on the trigger and my 75 year old ex marine hunting buddy is happier than a teenager at spring break. Thanks M Carbo for a quality spring set and apologies from a grumpy old man!

Spring kit came with a Hunting and a Benchrest main trigger spring. I put in the Benchrest because I like a lighter pull. Factory trigger came in at 4.75-5.5 lbs. The MCarbo kit is now at 2.5 lbs. Much improved and much better feel to the trigger. Worth twice what I paid.

Awesome kit! A must have.

This spring kit was very easy to install and the video provided was great. I have the safety deal T/C put in so I had to do this kit. I put in the bench spring in and it definitely made the trigger better. I dont have a gauge but I'd say its at least in the low 2lbs range. As far as the drop safety I CAN'T set off the trigger no matter how hard I tried with it cocked and safety off. YMMV but I am very pleased with it.
