Watched the youtube video for installation and was really simple. No overtravel at all and consistent 2.5lb trigger pull with the hunting spring. Also dropped tested with the safety from around a foot give or take and no malfunctions. Well worth the money for a much better trigger.
The spring kit made a substantial reduction in trigger pull. I now have a safe, smooth & crisp trigger. MCarbo shipped this order on the same day I made the purchase and have followed up to see if I was happy with the product and service. A+++ all the way.

i just got around today to install the spring kit wow what a difference i installed the hunting trigger spring and did a before and after test before i was getting 4 1/2 lb 6oz after the change it was 3 1/2 lb 2oz wow great job mcarbo keep up the great job.
Took a chance on this trigger kit and let me tell ya, I'm 110% happy about it. These folks deliver exactly what they promise. From the time I placed the order and all the way to installation, they are 100% customer satisfaction driven. I was able to track my shipment from the time it shipped, all the way til the time it hit my mailbox. Expedited shipping is worth it!! The installation was simple and all I could think was, "This is all there is to this?" Believe me, I was skeptical during that whole process. I'm gonna warn ya....with the 2.5lb "Hunting" mainspring, take the over-travel adjustment about 1/8 more turn after you hear the "click". If ya don't, you'll be disassembling it to figure out why you have a single shot. The crispness and ease of trigger pull is, by far, better than anything I expected. I can't tell you how happy I am with this company and their products!!
my trigger spring kit for t/c compass quickly just as promised by Mcarbo. assembly was a snap after watching the installation video.results are great.no longer sitting at the bench wondering how much more pressure I have to squeeze before the trigger breaks. Ordered a spring kit for my Thompson 6.5 creedmoor has taken away the stiff factory trigger that I disliked and got it nice and crisp. Very easy install I recommend this kit to anybody that asks.
This spring kit for the T/C Compass is the best $20 an owner of this rifle can spend. Watch the install video and be amazed at the difference this kit will make your trigger feel. My trigger from the factory came set at 6lbs and after the spring kit install, I now have a consistent 2.5lb trigger. I cannot recommend this spring kit from MCARBO enough.
I had a 7mm rem mag compass that was pulling at 7.5 lbs at the lowest setting. After I added the trigger kit it dropped it down to 3 lbs flat!(I like hunting rifles with a bit more than 2 lbs) needless to say I ordered a kit for my savage axis, I will highly recommend this company to anyone I know!
It's on me but I printed the instructions in color and did not understand that I should remove the 3 nuts from the trigger overtravel screw. Well, I read it, but still did not do it. I ended-up with a still very heavy trigger pull. Then I went on YouTube and watched the video and realized what I did wrong. Once I followed the directions and removed the 3 nuts from that threaded overtravel shaft, my trigger pull was MUCH better! I went back and forth between the 1.5 lb spring and the 2.5 lb spring and finally settled on leaving the 1.5 lb spring in the rifle. The trigger is so light and crisp, now! It is unbelievable and amazing! Totally worth the purchase price! I tested the trigger on full safety with locked bolt + safety with functional bolt. I jerked and jerked and pulled but it never fired. Only in the fire position like it is supposed to - light finger pressure and, CLICK! Nice and crisp! Great product and fast shipping! Well done!
Searched for a trigger pull weight reduction online and found this one. Watched the video on installation and figured I could do it no worries. I ordered my spring kit and it came very fast. It also contained a couple sweet stickers, which I thought was a great touch. I installed the springs in about 10 minutes (taking my time) and took my TC compass in 6.5 Creedmoor to the range. I printed .4 MOA at 200 yards with my rifle. This is normal performance for the rifle, but it was so much easier to squeeze the rounds onto the target with such a light and crisp trigger! Don't wait, you won't regret it if you have a TC Compass and you are hoping for a nice and AFFORDABLE trigger. Not to mention made in USA by Veterans, and it has a no hassle warranty-forever. Note: I bought the Super Lube too, it's worth every penny. Plus there will be enough Super lube left over for years to come and/or at least 12 more trigger jobs. I also found that a 1/16th inch punch from my MSR build tool kit was the magic tool for the job, not to mention the only tool needed. Thanks MCARBO.
