Installed the trigger springs, was very easy after watching the video about a week before the kit came. Made a very rough heavy trigger into one of the best I have. Highly recommend it.
The install was easy after watching the video, the trigger fill is much better now. The trigger weight was greatly reduced, much better than expected I would highly recommend this trigger kit.
I seen several ideas on social media groups for improving the trigger on my TC compass. I researched a little bit and this looked like the way to go. I was absolutely right. Followed the video and it was an easy install. I did replace all 3 springs and went with the bench spring. I have no gauge but it is light.. Plus this company just gave me the feeling that they wanted everything to be right. Great notifications. I would give the whole experience 10 stars if I could. I drop tested over a foot with no issue. I did not mess with the adjusting screw as I have no travel in the trigger. Good Luck !!
I don’t think this trigger can ever be great, but I do think this kit gets it as close to good as it can be. This trigger is waaaaayyyyy to heavy from factory. Watch the install video multiple times before attempting installation. You can run a punch through the backside to hold everything in place when starting pins. There was a drastic performance increase from factory. Thanks mcarbo
Original pull averaged 6.5 lbs. I put in the 2.5 lb spring and only dropped to 6lb. Installed 1.5 spring and got it to 4 lbs. Definitely better but I would have liked around 3lbs. Installation was very easy after watching video
My stock trigger pull was +72 oz. and exceeded my RCBS trigger pull gauge. I installed the M-CARBO kit with the hunting spring and the pull dropped to 71 ounces. I then tried the bench rest spring and it dropped to 3 pounds 2 ounces (50 oz.), which is close to what I was looking for so I will call it good, but not what I was expecting. I thought I would have two options, but in reality I only have one, but I am okay with that. The trigger is good and crisp now without any overtravel and it is safe. I did use the overtravel nut below the trigger, but not the other two adjusting nuts above the trigger.
Followed the instructions. The install was easy. Trigger is definitely lighter than the stock trigger. It does not feel as light as I was hoping, but it is a good improvement from the stock trigger. I did install the hunting spring as it is a hunting gun and I needed the drop safety. I dropped it a couple times from about 1ft, no issues. I did not use their grease, but i put some good gun oil on the sear area. Nice crisp clean break, no over travel. Over all I would highly recommend this spring kit! It is a great value.
I ordered this trigger spring kit and it arrived remarkably quick. Followed directions from instruction video and had them installed within a few minutes. The improved trigger makes bench rest shooting and hunting much better. I recommend this to anyone wanting a better trigger on a TC Compass.

I bought the TC Compass because I was tired of babying my Browning BLR. The Compass was cheap, but other than being a little tight, it seems well made and got good reviews for accuracy. I spent the extra money on a nice Leupold scope. The trigger pull on the Compass isn't horrible out of the box, but this M Carbo spring kit makes it shoot like a rifle that costs 4 times as much. I put the hunting spring in, and the trigger pull is light and crisp, but not dangerously light. Buy the Compass, use the savings to buy this kit and an excellent scope. A gun is a tool, who cares what the guys in deer camp say about the TC. Let them shoot it, and see if they don't change their tune. Happy Hunting!
The TC Compass spring kit worked great for my rifle and installation was easy. I received two main springs with the kit. One labeled Benchrest and the other Hunting. I used the Hunting one and saved the other in case I want to reduce trigger pull even more. Factory trigger pull was (6 lb 1 oz) and the new was (3 lb 10 oz). I suggest ordering the Super Lube Grease from M-Carbo when you order the spring kit. It's not included with the kit but definitely helps with installation. Great products and good You Tube installation videos.
Ordered a trigger spring kit for my TC Compass and it arrived immediately. Installed the kit and WOW! A world of difference. The new kit even came with main springs for Bench or Hunting scenarios. springs worked great, dropped my trigger pull from a little over 6 lbs. to 3 lbs. install video was a great help . the best part is it takes away any travel in the trigger
I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I can tell a big difference after the install. The video and printable instructions made the job easy. I would recommend to anyone who has a TC Compass .
Simple installation following excellent video instructions. I used the hunting spring, and it's smooth and barely over 2 pounds. Rifle is safe and much more accurate with this trigger spring set. Thank you! I'm buying another one for the Compass 300 Win Mag.
I don't have a trigger scale so I can't say how much the pull was reduced. But it was significant. I'm grateful for the instructional video posted online. It made the spring swap easy peezy. Fast shipping, too!
