Took no time are all to make 5.5lb pull down to 3lbs
was simple to install..took about 10-15 minutes..improved my accuracy.
Installing the trigger kit on my TC Compass was easy with basic tools. (Small hammer, small punch and loctite).The improvement of the trigger pull was terrific! Minimum travel, smooth travel and crisp break. Didn't have a trigger pull measuring scale but it seems to be less than half the stock pull. I'm very pleased!
This kit did exactly as advertised! My $200.00 compass feels just as good or better than my other more expensive rifles! Thank you Chris Nelson and the rest of the MCARBO team!
Very happy with this trigger spring set for my compass. It took a decent factory trigger and made it a great one. Install was easy and shipping was fast. Can't really ask for any more than that.
I just wanted say you guys have some awesome products. I ordered 2 trigger spring kits for the Thompson Center Compass and they both work flawlessly. Thank you guys, now could you design a bolt or part to make the bolt less sloppy. Also a longer flutted bull barrel. Just some ideas. Thank you again
I recently purchased the Thompson Center Compass trigger spring kit. I was not only amazed at how nice it made my trigger pull on this notoriously heavy factory trigger but I was amazed by the customer service. Afee days after I placed my order M*CARBO sent me a detailed email with directions how to install the springs. This level of service is amazing in this day and age.
The results obtained with the kit we’re exactly as advertised. The hunting spring produced a 3.5 lb. trigger pull. I have not tried the bench rest spring as I want the trigger to be safe for hunting with gloves. I also have installed the M Carbo spring in my Ruger American 22-250. The results were more than I expected.

Delivery was quick, installation almost as quick. Watched the video and it was done in no time. Used the 1.5 lb spring and trigger now breaks around 3 lbs. Much better than stock. Groups are much better.
First let me say that the customer service is great! The Thompson center compass trigger spring kit is exactly what was needed for this budget rifle. MARBO gives you two main trigger springs. One for hunting and one for bench rest. I have installed the hunting spring on my 30/06 tc. What a major difference! The trigger pull was reduced from 4 pounds to 2.75. With the polishing job they recommend doing while it's apart, the trigger feel is now crisp and clean with less downward muzzle travel. Thank you for the great products. I will soon be purchasing the glock trigger spring kit.
When I received my TC Compass, I expected a heavy trigger per the early reports, but my my my... I saw the video on youtube about the M*Carbo spring kit and was hopeful. Yes, I bought an economy rifle and now I'm spending more on it. drat. The instructions (and video) made replacement simple. I decided to go with the bench strength spring and took it out yesterday. I could not get it to fail my drop test. But I'm still going to be EXTRA careful at all times! The results were pleasing! I don't have a trigger pull measure, but it falls somewhere between "dang! I didn't mean to pull the trigger" and "come on, come on...." I like it very much and will NOT be sending it back!
I recently installed the trigger spring kit on my 6.5 Cdmr compass and it’s a great improvement over the factory trigger. I couldn’t get the factory to break less than 6 lbs, with this trigger kit I now have it breaking at 3 lbs every time! I’m very pleased with the kit! Jaime E.
installed kits on 2 seperate6.5 creedmoors with both delivering results as promised, trigger pull reduced and smoothed along with removing creep. Both kits were installed with the 2.5 lb. spring as rifles will be used to hunt. installation was easy ,just followed directions in video . definitely would highly recommend.
I could not believe what a difference this kit made in my rifle. It took my trigger pull down to about 2 lbs. This is a great product from a great company. I will definitely be doing more business with them.
