Original trigger pull was about 6.25lbs. Replaced with 2.5lb spring got it down to 4.25lbs. Replaced with 1.5lb spring, no change, still 4.25lbs. It did reduce the trigger pull, but not anywhere near what I was looking for (3lbs).
Thompson center compass had 5.50 pound pull weight and after installing hunting spring and rest of springs pull came down to 3 pounds and trigger very smooth very pleased thanks Mcarbo nation ps how about working on bolt handle extension thanks
Drastic recoil reduction I had the parts installed in about 20 mins the youtube video makes it easy. Safe as well. I will see what accuracy increase I've gotten group wise today at the range. Looking to beat .41

My Compass had a 6 lb trigger pull. This kit brought that down to 1 lb 12oz. This kit is easy to install and comes with two different springs to suit your preference for pull weight. I think the price is fair as well. It arrived a day earlier so that was icing on the cake. The trigger break is so clean and crisp it feels like a custom job. I am really pleased with the result and highly recommend this kit.
Before the spring kit, trigger pull was 7lbs on my gauge. After install trigger pull reduced to 4 lbs. this was with the hunting spring. For my purposes this is about perfect. Some bench rest shooting and some hunting.
I am not a gunsmith by any means, and this install was as easy as it gets watching the video. Normally when I think of trigger jobs I shy away, but this one makes it very easy and comfortable that its all gonna work once installed and it did just that.
This is the second trigger spring kit I will have installed on 2 separate Thompson. The ease of installation makes me fill secure that there will not be any problems later on and really he lo pa with shooting having the lighter trigger. Shipping is quick. Just can't say enough good things about this kit.
I purchased the spring kit expecting only the hunter spring and got the bench rest spring included as a surprise. Went to YouTube and watched their video. Was all done in less than 30 minutes including the time to watch video. Would buy it again and recommend to everyone.
For less than $30.00 and 12 minutes of my time my Compass is now reliably printing sub .75 moa on three shot groups.
kit was easy to install, video directions were clear and helpful. trigger feels lighter, no gauge to test actual reduction. a compass with this kit installed is a very high value at a bargain price.
I was skeptical at first seeing how just 20 dollars could make this a great rifle but I was wrong. When I ordered my parts they made sure I had it and the sent me installation instructions I was impressed. I followed the instructions and bam in and done. Thanks
Following the video instructions made it a very easy job. The only problem is the pull weight will not go below 3.25 lb, even using the "target" spring. May just be my rifle, I am going to assist a friend with his T/C Compass next week. We'll see if his responds better.
Shipping and install were the best. Made a world of a difference to the trigger
