Before deciding to buy this product I spent some time at the bench smoothing and polishing contact areas in the trigger assembly. I even went as far as removing the creep out of the trigger pull. it was definitely an improvement but, when I installed the spring it was a game changer.
I finally got around to installing my trigger spring kit. It was an easy job, just like you said in the video. While I was in there, I did some polishing on the hammer and trigger. The results were impressive! Yesterday I went out to the range to try it out. What I found was that although the trigger pull was significantly lighter and smoother, it's still very long with a stop just before it fires. I don't know; maybe I'm just trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear here, but I was just a little disappointed.
Probably the cheapest and most effective mod availible for the mini30 and mini14 rifles! I highly reccomend!

This trigger spring took 1.375 Lb. off my Ruger mini 14. Outstanding results
Easy install, the video walks you through start to finish. Trigger pull smoothed out and dropped from 6.5 lbs to about 4.3 lbs.

Huge improvement over the stock trigger pull and weight! Honestly, I was skeptical that a tiny spring could make such a drastic difference, but it really does. Super easy install and only 13 bucks.
I ordered the trigger spring kit for my Mini 30 after watching the Mcarbo video on u tube. This product did exactly what was said it would do. I now have just a bit lighter trigger but it is now much cleaner and crisper. Thanks Mcarbo.
Installed the spring quickly and easily. Trigger is much smoother as well as lighter. No trigger scale but I was able to shoot better groups!

Made a good improvement in a pre 86 folder that was already getting just under 1 1/2 groups at 100 yards with open sights. In fact, this rifle qualified me for a 200 yard range shooting a 6" 50 yard paper target (in the rain) with open sights on their 100 yard range. Now it's even better.
i have a Ruger mini 30 that had a 7 lb trigger pull. I oiled the trigger surfaces and reduced it to 6.5 lbs and then replaced the spring with an MCARBO Spring and it reduced it to 5.5. The HOW TO video on Youtube made it so easy for me to replace the spring even though i had never worked on any part of my rifle. I loved the pace of the video, absolutely perfect. thanks MCARBO
I have a 2008 Ruger mini 14 NRA edition. I replaced the stock trigger spring with this one. It took me about 20 minutes and I took took it out today. I was worried that it might be too light but it's not. It feels smoother and a little lighter pull. I'm glad I did it.
Worked as promised. I don't have a trigger gauge but I can tell the difference; great product!
