After replacing the trigger spring on my 583 series Mini-14, I noticed a significant reduction in pull weight. How much? Can't say for sure, I don't own a tester. But after polishing the innards, the action is crisp and smooooth.
I have installed MCARBO Trigger Spring Kits on several of my bolt action rifles with great results. After reading some of the reviews on the kit for the Mini, I was skeptical about whether it would make much of an improvement, but I figured that I would make my own judgement after installation, and I can honestly say that it made a very positive improvement to the weight of pull as well as the smoothness. You have to understand, a Mini is not the same as a bolt action rifle, it is what it is, and it does what it does, and with this MCARBO spring, it does it better. Highly Recommended!
I ordered late Monday night, got it Thursday and installed it immediately. Shot it Saturday and really liked it! Nice improvement over stock and super easy installation.

Easy simple installation took maybe 15 minutes. Great trigger buttery smooth.
I have purchased many parts from from your company and have been very satisfied with them. The trigger spring does reduce trigger pull. As for reducing the gritty factory take up, thats another issue. I dont feel any improvement on that portion of the trigger. The take up is very close to the original. Trigger quality from ruger is iffy at best, it works. I may attempt to tumble the components to smooth them out.
Installed this spring tonight. Definite improvement. Could be done in 5 minutes now. Feels much better and more consistent.
Called placed order, couple days later received, easy install, kit as described took just over 1lb. Trigger pull off. Would definitely recommend
The video on replacing the spring is great. Put in a Woff extra power hammer spring before the your trigger spring arrived, trigger pull was 6.5 lbs, yuck. Put in your trigger spring and some polishing on friction surfaces and trigger pull dropped below 4 lbs. Great
When you add this into the mix with 1/1000th shims and a Wolff hammer spring, it takes every ounce of grit out of that trigger! Highly recommended!
I purchased the sear spring kit just a few days ago. Shipping and delivery was fast. The installation video on YouTube made the change out very easy. Good job on the video. I have not had a chance to fire my Mini 14 since installation of the new sear spring, but the trigger pull is noticeably lighter and smoother. I expect a good experience at the range. Customer follow up via e-mails is very good. MCARBO wants you to be a happy. I would purchase from MCARBO again.
