I Have a Mini 14 SS #582 and wanted to make trigger better. OEM was at 6.0lbs. Light trigger job at 4.0lbs.Got new spring and sure looked like OEM but with it, pull is now at 3.5lbs. Added a barrel stabilizer to top it off and can't wait to get to range with it now.. Will update after range time if I can ..

I watched the video and installed it in around 10 minutes. Easy as pie. Worked great as advertised. I would recommend this product to anyone with one of these guns . It reduced the trigger pull by close to half. The first gun was a mini 30 so now I'm gonna put one in my mini 14.
My mini 30 had a smooth trigger and I hadn’t really noticed the trigger pull but I did have a light hammer strike on a round so I was going to replace the hammer spring anyway so I decided to do both while I had it torn down. Haven’t shot it yet but the trigger pull is noticeably lighter! Going to deer hunt with it this fall and that lighter trigger pull will come in quite handy! Thanks Brother!!
I installed the new spring from MCarbo by following the instruction video. The instructions were very good. The new spring lightened the trigger pull and increased my accuracy over the stock spring, which had a much harder pull. I recommend the trigger spring kit to anyone wanting greater accuracy.

it was a little hard to get back together, another hand would have been great, but i did it my self it took a little time but i got it. i really like the trigger now so much better, wish i had done it sooner.
The wait time between purchase and delivery to my door was average. The trigger spring has noticeably reduced the trigger pull. I don’t have a way to measure it, but it does feel better. I also added a couple of shims from another supplier to take up the side to side movement. The trigger group has a much better feel. One thing I will say is that MCARBO has a fantastic installation video available making it super easy to perform the upgrade. The video made me feel like I was back in uniform.
This small relatively inexpensive quality item provides a slightly lighter trigger. Coupled with a slight polishing of the sear and trigger interfaces in the trigger group results in not only a slightly lighter pull, the feel of the trigger press is smoother. Installation is relatively simple and the MCarbo installation video is informative and easy to follow for anyone with concerns about undertaking the installation. As always, the purchase experience with MCarbo is efficient and quick with good communication. They are always a first stop in any of my firearm parts seeking efforts.

As usual with M*CARBO, great instructions led to a very easy, 10-minute install in my vintage, 1983-era MINI-14. I don't have a trigger scale and cannot give exact numbers on the realized pull reduction, but it is noticeably lighter. I'd considered sending my trigger off to a gunsmith for a trigger job recently, but that's no longer necessary. Thanks M*CARBO!
Very easy process and makes a world of difference. Was tempted to go crazy with the polishing but since this is a hunting rifle, I decided to wave off on it. In the end, the MCARBO spring really does do significant improvements and (for me) the firearm did not anymore smoothing out. I have had one of those "trigger enhancement" gadgets attached to the trigger for a couple of years now (It fattens the width of the trigger surface for a more consistent pull). It was pretty sweet on its own, but now with the MCARBO spring installed, this puppy is super smooth! Thanks, guys!
Added this 12 spring to my mini and i will be ordering another for my other mini. Trigger is very smooth.
The installation of the spring was really easy and fast - less than 10 min. The difference is amazing the triggerpull has significantly reduced and is now ideal for my hunting purposes. I measured slightly over 3lb with my trigger pull gauge after installation. Really thumbs up for this trigger - I would recommend this to each Mini14/30 owner.
