Great product. Helped my groups shrink by at least 20%. It turned my Ruger Predator Grendel into a joy to shoot. No more fighting a trigger. This trigger will be going on my other Rugers as well.
With the elk of the how to video on Mcarbo, replacing the trigger spring was a piece of cake. I’m liking the new lower weight pull. Now to do both of my Ruger LC’s.
I am super happy with my trigger now. Install was not even 10 minutes. What a great improvement, can't wait to get to the range and seen how much of a real difference it makes.
Easy to install on Predator. Works as advertised. Hardest part was reinstalling the "E" clip. Not a real problem, just small for my hands.
Watched the video by Chris on swapping out to a lighter spring on my 450 Bushmaster. It was as easy as Chris made it look on the video. Very happy.
Amazing how a simple spring will bring the Ruger American Rifle (RAR) to a new level of performance. I installed 3 of these springs - 2 in RAR Predators (.223 and 6.5 Creedmoor) and 1 in an RAR Rimfire. All 3 showed a lighter, crisper trigger pull immediately after installation. And the actual installation was quite easy. Absolutely a 5-Star product!
I had a chance over the weekend to put the other spring in my other Ruger American (308), in addition to my 6.5 Creedmoor. I also did some more testing with the Lyman Trigger Pull gauge. I think I finally learned how to use the gauge better. I'm now getting 2.1 lbs on both Ruger rifles with your M*CARBO springs installed. I actually took the 308 out to the range today and shot some rounds and the trigger is supper sweet for me, really crisp. Thanks for a great product.

The Ruger American Hunter Rifle is already a Great Gun, but the MCARBO spring kit just makes it even better. Crisp & Clean with no creep. Simple to do, and definitely worth the $$$.
This isn't just for the ruger american trigger spring, it's for all mcarbo trigger springs. They're amazing. It's the first upgrade I look for on every gun purchase, it got my 6.5 creedmoor to just over a pound. Perfection in my opinion.
i ordered this trigger spring kit for my newly bought Ruger American Rimfire in 22LR. What a difference in the triggerpull, crips, clean and light triggerpull now, much better than with the OEM trigger return spring. i know it is some money for a little spring but in the end, it is really well worth it. I'm coming from the Airgun world, and there is a very good trigger mostly only available in the High End Airguns. So this one really surprised me, that for so little money and easy install after watching the video for it, that there is such a wonderfull trigger now on this rifle. This one really spoiled me rotten. If you have one of them Rugers i can really recommend this one, it is worth every penny and more. Also the whole process with MCarbo was a breeze and shipping was fast and a good packed envelope. So i will do more business with MCarbo i have some need for some special stuff. Can only rate it with 5 stars.
After installing new spring and checking trigger pull there was only a few ounces difference. Ruger trigger was justifiably junk. Probably a better option would be to save the money on cost of the spring and shipping and buy an aftermarket trigger.
The kit for the Ruger American was as great as all their other spring kits. I’ve done numerous M77 Rugers, Ruger American, Mini 30, pre 64 Win 70 and current Model 70 classic,Rem 870, Thompson TCR22, Ruger gp100, and sp101, Smith 686. ALL came out fantastic. Great products and instruction videos. And you come away with a good working knowledge of how each trigger works. MCarbo Brotherhood is AWESOME!!!
This was very easy to install. The trigger is much lighter and smoother now. I am hoping this translates into better accuracy. Shipping was fast and all parts I ordered were in pristine condition. I work on all my triggers and will be ordering more parts in the future. I also ordered the spring for my A Bolt but it somehow acquired wings and flew away…brooms and magnets were no help either. My fault, but I will reorder another since I like my Mini 14 results so much. I only wish you had a spring for the old Ruger M77 tang safety model.
I highly recommend replacing the factory trigger spring as it was simple to do and made the trigger pull much smoother. Just follow the video and you’ll have no problems. No need for the added expense of a gunsmith.
Reduced my factory trigger from 4 pounds 2 ounces to 2 pounds and 13 ounces. It also made my trigger much smoother! Very well pleased! Will definitely buy again!
