Review
Hello, I recently purchased a Ruger American Ranch Rifle, 5.56 mm. The trigger seemed okay as issued (which says worlds actually) but while looking around on the internet I found the video by M-Carb's gung-ho chief, and got the bug to improve my new rifle. The video is excellent, it's clear and well lit, and he explains everything very well. So I ordered the new spring and followed the instructions and had zero problems. My new rifle has a fine crisp trigger pull after the installation. >I'm not one to go with extremely light triggers, in the interest of safety. So I appreciate how well this new spring works, and how well it works in conjunction with Ruger's excellent design and the screw that manages the trigger pull. >One very happy customer here. The job took me about fifteen minutes.
This is so much better than the stock spring. I couldn’t get much better than a 4.5lb pull before, now I’m down to 2.5lb and there is a lot more room for adjustment either way.
Have now installed three M*CARBO spring kits. All I can say is DAMN! How much difference, how easy, fast shipping, unbelievable. And as a Viet Nam vet, I appreciate your service, what you did then, and what you"re doing now. Keep up the good work.
Before the trigger 3lbs ! After 1,80 lbs. Very good for shooting hunting and long ranger. Absoluty super. Thank you CM/switzerland
Easy installation and it makes a huge difference! Trigger pull is just under 2lbs. No need to spend $150 on a drop in. Highly recommend!
I bought this spring trigger kit to lighten up the trigger. It was a 3 to 5 days shipping but I received it in 2 days. I saw the video to install it and it was easy. Very happy with this product.
You maybe like dude it's 20$ for a spring. It makes you guns trigger night and day better. You can gently polish the pin that the trigger pivots on to get rid of the so called creep of the trigger
Did a $200 trigger swap in a 700 a week ago and changed this spring in a Ruger American tonight. If you sat down with them side by side you might notice some difference, but as soon as I felt it with this spring it felt just as clean as the 700. Absolutely a great upgrade and super easy job.
Heard about the M-carbo trigger springs from the ruger forum. bought 2 for my american's. great, well thought out product. quick, easy install, and the video of the install was awesome. although I dont have a trigger tension gauge, you can tell, it is lighter, and crisper than the factory Ruger American offering. thank you for a great product. now, get to offering more ruger american accy's bolts, bolt handles, firing pin shrouds etc... hey, a guy can dream cant he? ;)
Really helped my Ruger trigger, easy install just please watch the C-clip as it will take off on you. Only drawback was the ultra-slow USPS shipping.
Installed M*Carbo Spring Kit on a Ruger American Ranch in 450-BM . Took a 3.5 lb trigger pull to 2.5 lb . Could have adjusted lower , but 2.5 lb is exactly what I wanted . Good service , product , price , & lastly installation video . Video made installation a breeze . Bought M*Carbo Spring Kit for a 2006 model year M-70 Winchester in 243 WSSM at the same time . Haven't installed the spring in the M-70 yet as it's in use as my main varmint gun this time of year . I'm confident after installing & using the Ruger with the M*Carbo Spring that the M-70 trigger pull will benefit too .
Installed on a Ruger American Rimfire. I have Timney triggers on 3 Ruger American centerfires. I stumbled across this option for $12, Timney is $117. What the heck... Watched the video (good job guys) and made an easy install. Factory trigger was > 3 lb., less than 2 lb. after installed spring. I adjusted to an even 2 lb. (personal preference). Very pleased with trigger, and installation was quick & easy.
Trigger puller is smoother. Video on installation the best!!
Easy install even for my amateur self
Compared to factory this spring upgrade makes a huge difference. Went and shot today and it's the lightest most crisp trigger I have in any gun now. 100% Recommend
I bought two of these springs, one for a 308 and one for a 223 both in ruger predator. They are simple to install and make a big difference over the factory spring
