Machining in muzzle brake is phenomenal !! so is customer service !!
Installation on my 40 cal. Sub 2000 took minutes. Took it to the range today and the muzzle brake worked as advertised and it looks great on the sub 2000. I'll be ordering another for my Glock 40 MOS. You can't go wrong with Mcarbo parts.
I installed it on my Glock 22 40 cal. I was very surprised at how well it worked!!it has made the Glock a pleasure to shoot.🤩😎
Great addition to my Sbu2k! Had it on in less than 1 hour(includes hunting for the wrench). Tried it out couple of hrs later after rock set cured. Lots of fun w/ less muzzle jump & recoil (9 mm) Thanks for a well-made item. Rabbit
I just installed the muzzle brake on my .40 cal Kel Tec Sub 2000 Gen2, I already had the MCARBO Recoilless Trigger & Recoil Buffer. After firing 100 rounds right after installing the muzzle brake, the felt recoil from 180 gr .40 cal rounds was reduced by at least 75%. Thank you MCARBO, you have made my .40 cal Sub 2000 a pleasure to shoot.

I was a bit hesitant to get this because of the price but felt like the benefit would be worth it. The fit and finish is very good and & does what it's designed to do. I use the bolt buffer with it and my first impression after shooting is that it tamed it down making it much smoother keeping me on target and just more enjoyable overall.
Installation is straight forward. My laser cut wrench was almost to small. Instead of taping up muzzle brake, tape the 13/16 wrench instead. That way you're not fighting to get the tape off the brake.

Unit looks cool mounted. seems well made and directs the gases upward to slow the recoil. Easy straight forward mounting.I am still waiting on other parts so I have not fired the gun yet.
this muzzle brake for the ruger carbine works great. I would say it removes at least 50% or better of the recoil and lift. Great piece of equipment to buy for your ruger.
IMO the sub2000 brake is too aggressive for a 40 cal, the increase in ear damage is worse than the recoil. A 40 has very little recoil to deal with... Thank You
