The muzzle break is nice looking and easy to thread on. However, while watching and following the installation video steps I ran into a number of issues that ended up causing some marring on my front sight and barrel... I placed tape on both the muzzle break and barrel as suggested and I used the provided vice blocks... the issue came when I applied tension and backed off and reapplied as the video showed my front sight began to rotate... when I increased pressure near the end the barrel started to rotate - i had to really crank down on the vice and perform the install 3 times to get everything to line up and not slip. I also used a padded channel lock wrench to hold the front site in place while I rotated the muzzle break... so be prepared...
It was an easy install. I was surprised at the difference after running 30 rounds through the brake on my G2 S2K. Very little muzzle rise and the blow back from the side openings was not a problem. Reduction in recoil was noticeable as well.
Bottom line, its functional. When combined with a buffer and good fore hand grip it reduces the recoil for me to near nil, but I weigh 265 so fellows with less acceleration damping may feel anything more. Shooting hotter NATO rounds, still good. Mod worth the money functionally and aesthetically its an improvement. Cautions, A MAJOR one. Dont even consider installing this brake unless you have both a vise and v-shaped vise blocks. I had both but no way I was cutting one of my 150 dollar machinist vice blocks to fit this little space for a one time install, just buy the muzzle brake and vice block combo from MCARBO. They are unit specific Vice blocks less than 10 bucks. But whatever you do not try to install the brake without holding the barrel and not the for end. Bad things will happen at the hinge if you do.
Installation video was straight forward and easy to follow. However, it was a bear to get the muzzle break to allign properly. It took almost all my strength to make the last 90 degrees to allign. If I backed off 360 degrees it was too loose. Haven't shot it yet. Will let y'all know how that works.
the two small jaw will not grip onto the barrel no matter how tight I clamp down with my vise, and I tried masking tape and all the different tapes I got.. I did finally managed to get the muzzle brake into position....
Very easy to install, install video was very easy to follow, took less than 10 minutes to install. Can't wait to go to range to fire again, almost no recoil.

The muzzle brake does a great job handling recoil and leveling out the barrel for repeated follow up shots.
Your videos make the process of upgrading my sub2k too easy and that’s greatly appreciated. Got the parts and within an hour I discovered the flip up front is less pronounced which helps overall target reacquisition. Every one of your products that I have installed this past month has improved the performance and looks of my Sub2k. Thanks!!
Installation went well. I tried it at the range and it worked well follow up shots are more accurate and easier to get on target. Thanks for a great American product!
Used a vice. Worked like you said.
This break is awesome and easy to install, much better than the cover that comes on the gun. Watch the install video , trust me it will save you time and headache.

Ordered the muzzle break from M*Carbo and got it the next day....Bought the full size with crusher washer and vice mounts for the barrel and my bench vice.....For $39.00, I purchased a light duty bench vice which work great for anything you do for the sub2000 and other guns as well....After watching the video instruction, it took me about 10 minutes to complete it.....looks great and mean...going to try it out this weekend.

I got my Muzzle Break in the mail yesterday afternoon and this morning before work I put on the installation video and put the Break on. It was a breeze! Then I pulled out the Rail Vertical Grip and installed it on my Sub. If I could send a picture I would. It looks Bad A$e! Thank you M-Carbo 👍.
