Great muzzle brake, looks good and easy to install
I picked up the envelop @ 1400 MST from the post office, installed the recoil buffer and muzzle break, removed the rubber butt stock recoil pad I had installed to reduce the recoil, and went out to my range. With a 30 rd Pro-Mag M&P joy stick ........ every shot found a target @ 40 yds away. AND ......... I was TOTALLY impressed with the reduction in recoil and holding target with rapid fire. What can I say? Thanks for the upgrades!!!! If Kel-Tec ever decides to add all your aftermarket parts to their original mfg you'll either be richer or poorer. Poorer if they hire the lawyers for patient stuff. in the mean time ..... keep plugin along with listening to what we think needs changing and develop the ideas. Let's see ..... I think this is a ... GREAT ... THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very easy to install, very nice quality. Reduction in felt recoil was minimal to negligible. I have the buffer washer installed and it made a big difference in felt recoil. I then added the muzzle brake and there is only a very small, barely noticeable added reduction to felt recoil. Even for muzzle flip, it didn't seem to have any added benefit. Sorry, but I really don't feel the minimal benefit is worth the cost. The buffer washer made a much larger impact on reduction of felt recoil at a very reasonable price.
Purchased on a wish and a whim. Once installed and tested, my 40SW version performed nicely. It shoots much like my other Sub2000 in 9mm now. Much more manageable.
The muzzle brake is fine. The barrel jaws were not as described in the video. Mine had no notch in them to properly fit the barrel and were an absolute pain to use even with my vice. I ended up with a couple marks on the barrel from where the jaws slipped due to improper fit. I'd probably skip the barrel jaws if I had to do it over again and figure out my own solution.
Beautiful machining and finish. I love how compact it is. Installed on a FX-9. No muzzle flip at all and it helps soak up any recoil. Gun now feels like a shooting a 22LR. Thanks Mcarbo.
This was a great purchase. The product quality is tremendous, and installation was incredibly easy. Don't think about it, just buy it.
Combine this with the buffer and buttplate and you have a winner! Works with Red Lion Precision folding front sight.

Easy install and no issues. I thought it might make it really load but didn’t notice that much difference... I think on my 40 it definitely helps my stay on target on repeated shots.
Easy to put on and makes the gun look much better and helps with barrel jump, telling all my friends who have a Kel-Tec to buy one. Keep up the good work......

Perfect fit and function. Combined this with recoiless Charging Handle, their recoil buffer, folding sight and bolt tube cover.These parts all fit like a glove and reduce the .40 cal recoil to less that a 22LR. Great precision products, service and price.
I have purchased parts from MCarbo in the past the quality is perfect fit and finish is great. I found adding these accessories a breeze especially with the videos Chris provides. I definitely plan to purchase additional accessories for my Sub 2000 through MCarbo! This brake reduced what little recoil there was to nothing highly recommend
