The muzzle brake sold by MCarbo is the perfect size. I know there are other muzzle brakes that are out there but the one designed by MCarbo is unique in many respects and works perfectly with my Kel Tec Sub 2000. It certainly looks much better than the end cap that Kel Tec places on the end of the threaded barrel. When purchasing one be sure to order the "jaws" with it to hold the barrel in place for installation. While many of us have installed muzzle brakes on our ARs' and know the drill it is worthwhile to watch the installation video to make sure it is done properly so as to not compromise the integrity of the firearm.
These carbines don't have much recoil to begin with but this mini brake makes it even softer. They're just so much fun. It just became my daughter's(11yr) favorite range toy. MCARBO always has the perfect upgrades!
Perfectly Machined and Looks Amazing. That's the best way I can describe it. The installation was intuitive and easy, thanks to the installation video from MCARBO. I look forward to shooting it at the range and will report by on recoil reduction. Note: I already have the recoil reduction pad and recoilless charing handle. MCARBO has done a great job at taming the blowblack beast.

Got the full size brake and with the installation video there were no issues. It works perfect and this product plus the recoil buffer makes shooting this rifle a dream.
I installed the Muzzle Brake, Recoil Buffer Pad [life saver], But Stock Pad, and the Recoiless Charging Handle all at the same time, I went from a bruised shoulder every time I shot the Sub2K, to a real enjoyable experience when I shoot it now, If you want to reduce recoil you should purchase these Items.
I purchased a Keltec Sub 2000 that was already upgraded with many of the great M*Carbo products, including the muzzle brake. However, my private purchase did not include the laser cut wrench needed for the jam nut. One call to M*Carbo to explain the situation, and there was a wrench in the mail that afternoon! This muzzle brake adds to the Sub 2000 performance, along with all of their other fantastic upgrades. Thanks for making a great shooting platform even better!
At the range today, I noticed a recoil reduction, and what recoil was more linear stayed on target much better. Installation was not as smooth as the video made it out to be. As I tightened the Comp/Brake to start mashing the crush washer, the front sight post rotated too. Ended up backing off jam nut for the Sight and re-tightening. Front sight still wanted to move a bit, but I just held it as I tightened, loosened, tightened and indexed Comp/Brake. Hey it all worked out
This Muzzle Break is well designed and we'll built just like America! When used CORRECTLY it has Amazing results. Another well designed, well constructed and Well Tested add on! This works great , I have one on a 9 and one on a 40 Gen 2 ..
Stay on target round after round with this beautifully designed muzzle brake. Little muzzle rise when timed correctly you will have everybody at the range staring as you shoot away keeping your groupings tight and muzzle down.
Works great for me as I have a bad shoulder and it does help with recoil and return to point
