Review
Great quality part great video on installation and fast shipping
Nice brake, didnt like installing with the crushed washer but well made product.
The muzzle brake is well machined and looks awesome, the crush washer had to be modified to get the muzzle brake in the right position. I couldn't find any information to help me with this problem however, I did decrease the width of the crush washer to get it aligned, this took some time and I'm very happy with the results.
I had a little difficulty getting it installed even after watching the video but it seems to be working great 👍.
I selected the large muzzle brake so I cannot compare the two all I can say is it works as advertised. I had MCARBO install the muzzle brake and they did an excellent job. I believe the large muzzle brake allows me to stay on target easier and provides a small adjustment for the second shot. Excellent addition to my Sub 2000
Great
great enhancement to my Sub2000 and easy installation
looks great and works great
Great quality product!! Very satisfied with the sub 2000 muzzle brake. I will definitely be back to buy again!
Wonderful chunk of metal! Don’t make the mistake I did, don’t use blue painters tape on the barrel when you put the clamp on, there is to much wax in the tape and it will not clamp well. It is best to use a brown low wax tape it has better grip and won’t scrape your barrel. Blue is fine for the compensator. Oh and if your Sub is threaded like mine the bigger the vice the better.
Great product, it should also include a jam nut in case the customer doesn’t have access to a vise or will be removing it often.
Purchased this muzzle brake to use on a different makers 9mm carbine. Found the finish and detail top notch. Very happy with the product.
Barrel twisted even with the aluminum jaws and shop vice as tight as possible. Other than that everything was great.
Installation was very straight forward; however, there is one fly in the ointment. I order the vise jaws, and according to the installation video, the inside of the jaws are supposed to be machine-contoured to fit the barrel. The ones I received are not. The vise jaws in the video appear (not confirmed) to be longer than the actual ones I received. The vice jaws did not hold the barrel completely in the jaws, there was about an 3/8" air gap in the bottom of the "vee". I used painter's masking tape on the barrel, and used the stock, folded up perpendicular to the barrel to keep the barrel from rotating inside the jaws and installation was smooth and trouble-free. There was no marring on the barrel when the tape was removed. I can't wait to go to the range to try out this and the other goodies I installed on this neat rifle.

Got a chance to test my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Muzzle brake which I mounted on my Ruger PC9. As you know the PC9 is not known for its recoil so I couldn't see much of a difference in felt recoil. I'm not saying that it doesn't reduce recoil but on a gun with such little recoil to begin with, I couldn't tell the difference. As for muzzle flip I would have to say that I might have noticed a little less muzzle flip but again with such a soft gun it's hard to say. The one thing that I can say is that I don't care if there is less recoil or less muzzle flip, That's not what I bought the brake for. It's the cool factor that I was looking for and this one wins hands down. Fiat and finish are second to none and it did not change the accuracy of my PC9 one bit. If you are looking for a muzzle brake for your Kel-Tec Sub 2000 of Ruger PC9 this is the one to go with. And you can't find customer service as good as MCARBO. You have plans for a trigger upgrade for the PC9? If so I'm willing to wait rather look around and find something that I might not like. Thanks MCARBO keep up the good work.
