My brother's new rifle had a trigger pull of 4.375 lbs. This kit provided a reduction of nearly 40% to 2.65 lbs [(final-initial)/initial]. He now uses it more often because it is such a pleasure to shoot. Easy install if you take time to review the MCARBO video.
Installed on a 77/17 WSM and it worked like a charm. Simple and cut the pull in half.
Install was fast and simple. My firearm was similar to the one in the video. Video helped take a lot of uncertainty out of the install. Reduced the trigger pull but don't have a trigger pull measure. Highly recommend getting the upgrade.
Very nice Chris. Easy to follow video. I nice improvement in feel
Great delivery time , great instructions , easy to install. The extra shims and grease were very nice and made the bolt feel a lot better. The spring gave the trigger nice solid feel , not too light but crisp. Thanks Mcarbo DGS
Received trigger kit and was excited to get started on. Watched video one more time before starting. Very well detailed and informative. Being a machinist I understand exactly what you mean about precision shims. Took less than 30 minutes to do complete transformation. Highly recommend your service and products. Great job. Took gun out and was really surprised in the accuracy I was getting. Now to see if anything can be done on my LC9.
While the trigger pull only went from 5.4 to 3.5, the combination of the shims and the trigger spring enabled me to shoot 4 shots touching at 25 yards.....always seem to have one flyer--say a 1.4 inch out...really amazing compared to what this rifle was grouping before.
M carbo does it again great parts fast shipping for guns that need to be worked price awesome I just wish they carried more parts for different guns. I’d recommend these people to everybody. Thanks again may God bless you all.
Installed this spring on my Rugger 77 Hawkeye. The trigger was so heavy from the factory. This reduced the trigger weight significantly. It will be much more manageable at the range. Quality product and great, fast service. Harry Bates
I found the instructional video demonstrating the spring replacement kit while searching options for trigger pull. This kit was perfect and I could not be more thrilled. The swap was quick and easy and in my opinion, so much better than the more expensive alternatives that also require modifying the sear. I am now planning similar upgrades for multiple firearms including rifles and pistols. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Installed the spring in my 30-06. The 4.5 pound trigger is now 1 pound 11 ounces. Measured with a Lyman digital. Not to light, just ideal for a box rifle shooting subMOA. Cannot use the shims on this bolt. Really only needs just the spring. We have a few more Rutgers and will follow the same. Well worth the cost..
I recently purchased a spring kit for my Ruger model 77/22. The package arrived just as advertised. I'd watched the video a few times and I followed the instructions and it went in just as shown. The only thing extra I'd bought was a 3/32 punch but the pin was not that difficult to remove. I didn't get the 2lbs reduction in pull weight that was in the video but it was enough of a reduction to shoot my best group ever at 100 yards.
I installed to reduced tension trigger / sear spring and bolt shims on my 80s model Ruger 7722. What a difference. I was shooting two inch groups at 50 yards prior to the install. Photos of the install results are attached. Very happy with the product, the price, the quick delivery, and of course the results.
I have a M77/357. It had a little 'catch' to the bolt action. I put in the new trigger spring, synthetic grease, a .002 shim and it made a vast improvement. Also I used the feed ramp polish while the barrel was out of the stock. I can cycle 38/357/FTX ammo with no catches . I like it. I followed the direction from the uTube video.
I installed this spring into my FTW Hunter and went from over a 4lb trigger pull to little ove a 2lb trigger pull! Can’t wait to get to the range!
Well the spring worked but my bolt is different than the one the worked on so couldn’t use the shims but I guess the springs ok
