Very easy install. Trigger went from 4.75 lbs. to 2.15 lbs. with the spring change. Then i polished the trigger to remove some of the tooling marks. Trigger pull then went to 1.85 lbs. Love it now. The bolt needed one .002 shim. The rifle is perfect now. Thanks Mcarbo.
the spring and shim kit is a must by if you own one of these rifles, trigger is much smoother. the head space is off on your rifle chances are. check your brass after firing if the head is bulging in the center of the case you need to shim it mine was off 8 thousand, mcarbo shim kit fixed that. better accuracy and a safer rifle.
Kit arrived yesterday installed last night. before install did five trigger pull test average of all five was 4 lb 6 oz after install did five more trigger pull test average was 2 lb 5 oz just what I was what I wanted right on the mark. Great product did better than advertised. Having trouble getting shim installed but that is my fault not Mcarbo's
I installed the spring into my 77/17 and it made a huge difference. Went from 5lbs to 2.5lbs and is just as crisp as it was before. I didn't have time to do any polishing but would like to in the future. Also didn't have time to mess with the bolt shims but plan on doing so in the future. Great product! I ordered this product for my M77/22 Mag, install is easy, tutorial video is well done but I was only getting a 5.5 pound let off, was not satisfied so I emailed MCARBO and the response and advice in addressing the issue was very prompt and after some tweaks as suggested I have a Trigger that is breaking crisp at 2.4 pounds, I am quite pleased.
very fast delivery. disappointed in results. started with trigger at 3lbs 3oz. after install trigger was 3lbs 0 oz. only had 3 oz drop in weight.
As usual great product, fast shipping. Reduced trigger pull wt. from 4.5 lb. to 2.0 lbs. and bushings worked great took wobble and slop out bolt. The u-tube instructions is great and easy to follow. Thanks again for great products solutions to fix host of firearms.

I have two Ruger 77/22 rifles, one walnut and one all weather. One trigger pull was reduced from 47/8 lbs to 31/2 lbs. The other was reduced from 41/4 lbs to 11/2 lbs.Shipping was fast,same day as I ordered. The videos on website made installation easy.

Purchased shim and spring kit for my ruger 77-17 hmr. Parts were delivered Very expediently and as advertised. Bolt shims were burr free and spring obviously lighter. Install was straight forward and simple. Trigger pull went from 5# to 3# and I only used 1 .oo1 bolt shim. Happy with results.Economical and easy.
I watched the video & it showed a less than 2lb trigger pull!............. I installed my kit in my 77-44 today, had a 7 lb pull before,...... after I had a 5.3 lb Pull............. I gained less than 2 lbs, It was easy to install, but Not Worth the time & trouble for what little bit gained. I purchased 2 packs had planned to do my 77-357 as well, Don't plan to use it, as its Not worth taking it apart for the little improvement, plan to get a whole adj. trigger assemble.

I am so happy with the trigger pull on my rifle now. If you own a M77 and hate the trigger buy this spring kit. It brought the pull weight to 3 lbs. It was 6lbs. Great guys to deal with as well!
Order the spring kit for my rifle. Best decision I made for it. Now the trigger is easy to pull and has me under 2.5 inches at 200 yards with 22wrm. That's a big improvement over factory trigger spring.
It worked great and the You Tube video was very accurate in helping do the job .
