This upgrade is easy to do and makes a big difference, by far the best upgrade I have done to the carbine. Thanks guys for making this product affordable and keeping it in the USA
BOY, This spring upgrade REALL WORKS!!!! Initial tested my factory spring and the trigger pull measured anywhere between 6.8 to 8.1 lbs. After upgraded with the M*Carco spring, now it measured 3.15 to 4.15 max. SUPER FIX. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! A MUST have upgrade to Hi-Point 995TS Carbine.
I have a Hi-Point Carbine which I have had for over 15 yrs. I worked okay but was my truck gun and I never thought much about it. The Trigger was heavy 8 lbs plus but since I didn't shoot it very much so I wasn't concerned as although it has been very functional it is a pain in the $#@^& to break down. Anyway I saw this kit for 14 bucks so I thought why not try it. Believer me I glad I did I actually like shooting this gun now it very pleasurable and surprisingly accurate to boot. After the install I measured the trigger pull with a Lyman digital scale and found a 5 pull average of 3 lbs. 11 oz. compared to the 8 lb plus I had previously. I also seems to have less take up and a cleaner break, a great improvement and for the price well worth the trouble to purchase and install.
I saw the YouTube video on the spring change out to better the trigger pull. For the money I thought, heck why not give it a try! Using the video as a guide, I installed the spring without a hitch. Basic function test on the bench was fine. There was a noticeable reduction in the pull. The next test was a range test and the spring performed flawlessly. I would recommend this product. It functions as advertised!
I knew that the hi-point 45 carbine had a bad trigger feel from all the reviews on that subject, but I bought one anyway thinking is it really that bad and I will get used to it. well it is bad bad bad, so I purchased the replacement spring and what a difference. Granted it is still not match grade at all, but it makes the trigger much better. well worth the effort and cost.
That little bitty sears spring makes a quite noticeable difference in the trigger pull. My antiquated trigger scale went from estimated 11lbs to 8lbs. I was only able to do the conversion myself thanks to their video. It shows step by step how to take that weird carbine apart, change the spring and put it back together. A BIG thank you!
As a retired Army Warrant Officer, I was proud to purchase this from a veteran owned company. I was impressed in the detail that was demonstrated through out the installation video and was able to complete with ease. This spring has a definite reduction in pull and makes this already fun shooting gun even more fun.
It is great to get the Carbine Trigger pull down from the about 8 lb. pull to a much lighter pull of about 5 lb. It is great.
This spring vastly improves the trigger on the Hi Point 995 TC. The trigger does not feel mushy anymore. Installation is very easy and the price is right.
I love my 995TS, but I was having a hard time controlling the trigger pull and staying on target when at the combat shooting range. By changing the trigger spring, it has reduced the time on target and for a double or triple tapping rounds down range and on target.
I wasn't sure how difficult this change out of the trigger spring would be, but the video provided on YouTube was excellent and walked me through every step. The new Trigger Spring is definitely better, lighter, and more crisp!
Totally different in a good way over the factory trigger spring. Easy installation and such a simple fix for the heavy pull on the old spring.
Watched the video as I worked. I'm old, so getting pin back in the plate took a few extra minutes. Plus cleaning the firing pin etc. My Carbine is well broken in, and the trigger wasn't too bad. Not like when it was new! I'm very pleased with the new trigger pull. It feels cleaner and breaks nicer now. This little 9mm is going to group a lot better now. Can't wait to get up to the 50 yard range!
I just completed a installation of the Hi-Point Carbine Trigger spring kit in a Hi-Point Carbine that has had approx. 10,000 rnds thru it and the results were impressive. I measured the trigger pull using a Wheeler Digital Trigger spring guage like the one in the video that Cris used. I took 3 pulls and averaged the result as follows. Before the M*Carbo spring kit Trigger pull was 5lbs.5.7ounces, after the installation trigger pull was 2lbs.4.9 ounces and much smoother take up and clean break. Definitely worth the half hr. to install. Thanks again M*Carbo for another excellent product.
I received my order ahead of schedule and in great condition. I went right to work changing it out and it was a breeze. The feel was different but a little hard to tell the difference at first. I ordered a trigger pull tool so I could see if it made a difference, plus it's always good to have more tools and I can check all my other guns. It made a difference from 8 lbs down to 5.34 lbs. Now to go out and put some rounds through it and work that trigger some. What next to do.
I HAVE BOTH A 995 AND A 4595 SO I GOT TRIGGER SPRING KIT FOR BOTH.I WAS REALLY HAPPY THE WAY THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AND THEN WHEN I GOT THE E-MAIL POINTING TO INSTRUCTIONS. THAT WAS IMPORTANT AS NOW I DID NOT HAVE TO GO LOOKING. IT TURNED OUT THAT IT WAS EASY TO FOLLOW AN WAS DONE WITH BOTH IN NO TIME. THE SECOND ONE WAS EVEN EASIER. I WILL KEEP THESE GUYS IN MIND AS I SEE THEY HAVE SOME PARTS FOR ALL OF MY FIRE ARMS. THANKS A BUNCH SO GLAD I FOUND YOU.
