This kit reduced trigger pull by a whopping .20 lbs. If I were a gunsmith and used this kit for a customer I would have been perturbed to say the least. I no longer trust the products sold here after the Hi-Point recoil spring/guide rod fiasco where that combination was tearing up guns according to the Hi-Point engineering department themselves. Thank goodness I never shot my 995 with that combo in but obviously they don't thoroughly test what they sell here.
Install was easy, video very helpful. Trigger pull was lighter.
Just finished the spring upgrade on my carbine trigger. With the help of the MCarbo video it was a breeze. After the installation I feel that I am getting just around the 5lb range. Trigger is better than it was. Thanks mcarbo
I've upgraded multiple triggers on my various guns, but this makes my inexpensive, bulky, ugly, but really fun to shoot carbine much better. This mages the sloppy, hard HiPoint trigger a lot better; still sloppy much much, much lighter. Everyone that I've shown this to and has a HiPoint says they will get this upgrade. If you own a HiPoint, you need to get this spring.
I have an older HP 9 carbine. I was able to install the trigger spring fairly easy. In my case, the trigger transfer bar was not removable, but did not matter, pried the smaller back side piece off, pulled out the old plunger & spring, installed the new spring, prying The side piece to go back over the pin. Stock disassembly is different than the video, but all went well. I cleaned the transfer bar points, then lubed with Break Free. Trigger pull much better.
It is a bigger Improvement than I could have thought. Best $13 I have probably ever spent.

The spring is obviously lower tension than the factory sear spring. Good people to deal with and very quick to ship.
My hi point is in a High Tower Armory MBPS, and Trigger Spring has made a big difference ........ It is very remarkable....the shipping was incredibly fast .... Thank you very much ..... next week I will buy again
Followed the mcarbo video to install the spring. Super easy and the trigger pull was reduced to a more reasonable pull. Recommend to anyone with a HiPoint Carbine.
Installed it on my 995TS, made the trigger both lighter and smoother. Highly recommended.

Nothing changed other than I spent ten bucks on a two dollar spring.
Went to the range yesterday, I love the feel of the trigger, it was nice and smooth. I aslo function chocked my Hi-Point Carbine. I had replaced the trigger spring, installed the stainless steel guide rod and recoil spring. Everything went smooth didn't have any feed problems, loved it. Love Mcarbo products.
It's amazing that something so simple can make shooting more enjoyable! Well worth the money!!
Wish I could give a good review but the sear spring did nothing for my 4595. it has over 9lb pull bottoms out my RCBS scale. I called M-CARBO they sent out a new one said if it did not work call them did not work I have called like three (?) times have not heard from them. They said there phones and computers where down, maybe hey are. They seem to be reel good. I jest can not right a better review, Jim
