Review
Installation video was great. Trigger pull prior to installation was 5.5-6.5 variable. Trigger pull afterwards is 6.0-6.2. constant. This kit is okay but not really helpful that much.
Replace the 45 ACP carbine spring first. Original trigger pull would not even register on my Lyman scale. After replacement, registered right at 7.75 pounds. Very managable now! The 9mm carbines original trigger pull was above my trigger pulls scale also. After the spring change - registered 6.5 pounds consistently. Dramatic improvement! The video was great and easy to follow.
Install was very easy following the video. Could definitely tell the difference in the pull feel. Much smoother and definitely aids in keeping on target.
Prior to the installation of the Mcarbo trigger spring in my HiPoint 4595, the trigger pull was 10-1/2 pounds. The installation of the Mcarbo trigger spring brought the trigger pull down to 7-1/2 pounds. I polished a few components while I had the gun apart. The instructions were very good and helped me as I disassembled, then reassembled the 4595.
trigger spring improved trigger pull. the video was very help[ful.
I have yet to shoot my pcc but I can already tell theirs a substantial difference in my trigger pull thanks mcarbo
Spring kit was exactly what was represented. Installation videos were great. Your company is worth anyone's time if you need their service. Salutations!
Trigger spring upgrade was a cinch to change out. Now my carbine fires so much smoother.
One of the first things I did to my 995TS. Trigger feels great. YouTube video was a huge help.
M-Carbo has taken a pretty decent 10mm (My only Hi-Point; and now my favorite carbine) and made it a great 10 mm carbine. The actions and fluidity of the spring, guide rod, and trigger spring kit rightfully skyrocketed the value of my gun. The 10mm 1095TS groupings are phenomenal with the m-carbo kit. The trigger breaks cleanly. The charging handle has some strength to it, but my 12 year old nephew was able to charge it by himself, so it isn't difficult to load. It cycles a helluva lot better than what it did with the factory springs and plastic guide rod. I had a bad experience with 2 types of ammo; PMC Ho.Po. and Remington flat. They seemed to be all over the place (this was my first test of the M-Carbo springs and rod). I was worried for a moment, but then I changed my ammo... and my groupings at 50 yards were within an inch. My Sig Sauer 180 gr. fmj are my go to plinking ammo and they do not disappoint (well, my wallet gets hit hard as hell). I also use the Underwood brand anything. They are my go to for self defense and hunting. Hard cast is just as good as the xtreme penetrator at half the price. Get the kit, guys. Only problem I had was the cheek pad. I need a new one because the heat made mine come off (100 degrees outside when it started coming off).
The little spring is good quality. But, it had a limited effect on the 4595 trigger. I did some polishing, not much, on the trigger linkage as well as changed the spring.. I think the spring is a good idea because it gets you to examine the trigger assembly more closely and do some polishing. That helps and the spring helps, so all in all it seems like a good investment. Save the old spring though. Don't throw it away or lose it.
When ordering this I was a little skeptical as I did not see how one spring could improve the performance of the Hi Point 995 carbine trigger. I was surprised. After installing I found the trigger to be nowhere near as gritty as it was before. I don't have a trigger pull gauge so I could not check the trigger before and after, but the trigger pull did feel lighter. Installation is difficult, but if you watch the video you should not have any problems. Definitely worth it. I
This spring kit noticeably reduced the trigger pull on my 4595 carbine. Installation was easy due to the excellent video on MCARBO's site.
I definitely appreciate the quick ship out time of all items ordered. Everything including this trigger spring is always in great condition, and has easy to follow install instructions if you have not done something like this before. Great products!
I have installed the appropriate trigger seer spring upgrade on both my 995TS and C-9. The pull is reduced as claimed, making an easier and smoother trigger. Very simple to install, just change it when you clean the gun. I also fill the spring cavity and seer pin cavity with grease which also helps create a smooth trigger pull. I would also suggest that you polish the seer pin lever (use a 1000 grit stone), which connect the trigger mechanism to the actual seer pin.
I'm not trigger-sensitive at all; I just pull until it goes bang and that's fine with me. However, this replacement spring really does make the OEM pull a whole lot smoother and lighter! Surprising what a change from a tiny spring...
