Just did the trigger spring install on my 995ts. This is such an improvement from stock. Now did I hear something about a new trigger possibly? Please make it happen as I will definitely purchase one. The bottom profile of the stock trigger is too curved and doesn't feel right. Some improvement is needed and you are exactly the ones to do it. Thanks for your support.
Everyone knows Hi-Points are great guns for the money. Their triggers are the biggest negative. The mcarbo spring improves it to greatly enhance it.
For years I struggled with the exorbitant heavy trigger pull of the stock spring in my old Marlin 881. I had performed the clicker ink pen spring mod which helped but was leery of how safe it was. I finally quit procrastinating and ordered the Mcarbo trigger spring and words cannot express the day and night difference it made in the trigger pull weight reduction. I do not have a gauge to report the differences but it is now smooth and light. This trigger spring upgrade has transformed my old Marlin to the tack driver it should have always been.
Ordered for my Hi-Point 995ts. Received in 3 days. Installed and had the gun back together in 10mins. Haven't been to the range yet but it feels like a night and day difference. If you don't have it yet GET IT!
Spring came quickly and worked as intended. Was easy install with the YouTube video.
The install was easy enough since MCARBO has a video to guide you. Beside the install I could see where the bar that goes from trigger to sear was dragging badly on the raised bar it rests against. A quick smoothing of the rough parts of the raised bar (w/600 grit paper) and WOW the trigger pull now is very smooth(ZERO CREEP/DRAG) and is nowhere near too light. I guess it to be 5-6lbs. This is a must do for Hi Point carbine.
Installed this on my 45acp carbine. Easy install that took pull from off the chart (on my Wheeler gauge) to a tolerable 6.2 weight. Wish Mcarbo had some better trigger parts on the way. HP carbine is fun to shoot but I hate the plastic mushy trigger.

I had to watch the video for installing this spring. Otherwise I would have been lost on the take down and reassembly of this firearm. I had no problems doing the installation at all. Just take your time and follow the techs video. Once together I notice a great reduction in trigger pull.i was tickled to death it felt like a real sharp shooter rifle.

Very easy install once you practice with breaking down the carbine. Noticeable difference over the factory trigger pull. Well worth the cost.
As the popularity of pistol caliber carbines grows more and more people go to Hi Point for the value and reliability. One can make this firearm a little better with the MCARBO trigger spring. Buy the spring, follow the installation video and it’s done. Polish some of the internal metal to metal parts during the installation and your done. Lower the trigger pull and reduce the grit.
Reduces trigger pull and helps the overall feel of the trigger. Nice to have a video to assist and customer service with follow up emails makes for a great experience.
