This cheek rest isn't absolutely necessary, you can shoot the KSG without it, but man does it make shooting more pleasurable! The only downside is you may be purchasing more ammo (Damn!) because you'll go from a box before a sore cheek to shooting until it's past time to go home...
This was the perfect addition to my KSG. It's so simple to install and it's not going anywhere, even under heavy recoil due to the thoughtful design and the way it saddles various features of the frame. No adhesives, no screws, no permanent modifications. The only downside (sort of) is that it raises your cheek weld so you may need to use elevated sights if you were using low profile irons or red-dots. The double-edge to that sword is now you don't have to crush your head into the receiver to sight in your shotgun. I highly recommend this to anyone with a KSG. Well done M-Carbo!
This is an awesome addition to this beast known as the KSG. Easy installation, fits like a glove, feels awesome on my cheek, and kept my teeth from rattling with every shot.

Hey, I've looked the world over via the internet looking at upgrades for the KSG. This Kydex cheek rest is the best option out there! You can remove it so easy and fast, yet it won't go anywhere until you want it to. No more having to worry about adhesives to foam padding on your factory stock etc. It's just the right choice!
This is a quality product that snaps securely into place and when running a red dot gets that perfect position for both eyes open centering. Also saves your cheek from the recoil. Highly recommend.
