I'm always a bit hesitant to buy tools because have had experience with really cheap crap... Can't say that about this is solid not cheap and it fits really snug no play...
So far these guys are just awesome!! the parts I bought got here quick and beyond that, the service with updates, status has to be the best I've ever seen from a company, keep it up as I will be back!!
High quality product! Fit perfectly with the barrel nut. Would definitely recommend the vice tool. If not, it’s a two person job.
Works great I bought a vice holder and watched the video on how to do it. I had no trouble at all
Well made, quality tool. Perfect fit to prevent damage to that hard to replace barrel nut.
The only reason I was willing to purchase a KSG was the Mcarbo choke tube adapter. I prefer the versatility. This barrel spanner nut tool is necessary to complete any modification involving that nut. I highly recommend the KSG vice plate as the factory nut is well torqued.
I had no trouble getting the barrel nut off with this tool. I just racked the charging handle to the rear, wrapped the fore-end with heavy cloth, and locked it sideways in a vise. Without too much pressure, the rail and magazine tubes will not deform. I then used a 1/2" socket wrench (and a rubber mallet) to turn the nut loose.
The tool in it self is of a very high quality the finish is is better then some of the top end mechanic tools I have in my tool chest Great Job Brothers on paying attention to your quality control Thanks Again
Excellent!!! This tool made removing the barrel nut a breeze. I didn't need heat nor an impact wrench. I just used a 1/2 socket wrench and it can off easily.
Quality is top notch! Ship was fast. Made from SS so it should never rust. Fit perfect! Did the job with authority. MUST USE HEAT to remove the nut ,,, as per the instructions. The vise block would be a VERY handy item for this... I did it without... but the vise block is in my future. Be careful not to evenly remove the barrel/ tube plate... do not cock it. I have had TWO failures on the KSG-12 mag springs. They snap... I think it happens with full tubes, topped off with a slug during fire. Kel-tec sent me new springs,,, but will probably swap out for some Wolff springs. Thumper
Excellent excellent product! You really need this for anything front-end related.
It's the only game in town to remove the barrel nut without damaging the firearm. Seems a bit expensive for something you will likely only use once.
No way I could've gotten the barrel nut off without this socket. Fits perfectly.
I recently purchased a KSG and bought a ton of accessories from M Carbo before I even took possession of it. One thing I bought was this 6 point barrel nut. This fit perfectly and in combination with my impact wrench immediately took the barrel nut off so I could install my muzzle brake. Thanks for making it easy M Carbo!
I ordered a 6-Point Barrel Nut Wrench for a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun and paid extra to expedite the shipping. After 10-days, I checked the tracking and it was apparent the USPS had lost my order. I contacted M-Carbo by phone and they immediately sent me another barrel nut wrench via Fed-Ex with 2-day shipping. This nut wrench was precision made and fit the gun exactly. I finished the job the same day it arrived. I never did receive the first nut wrench they had sent me and with some companies, I'd still be waiting. M-Carbo didn't do that and I really appreciate the positive attitude and support they gave me. They really do practice the doctrine of "LEAVE NO BROTHER BEHIND". They're the best.
I ordered the redesigned 6-point barrel nut wrench. The design and construction is awesome. It make removing the barrel nut very easy with just a socket wrench. No pre heating the barrel and the was scratching or damage to the barrel end.
