I tried the KSG with snap caps at home when I picked up the KSG. Not only were the shells hitting my wrist but my chest as well (middle right before my fat stomach. I had already purchased this shell deflector so I put it on. Immediate game changer. Not only did the shells not hit my wrist by also did not hit my chest either. I'm so very impressed with that. I even am pretty confident you can install the extended tube switch and use your wrist to change tubes with this installed.So I'm gonna buy that as well.
Purchased the KSG shell deflector and it works perfectly as expected. This version is nicer than all other shell deflectors I have seen for the KSG. The size is minimal compared to others with just enough meat to deflect shells but lean enough to still allow easy loading. the mounting Hardware is top notch and provides a clean "meant to be there" look. A must have for any KSG!
Before I purchased my KSG I watched just about every video on YouTube and I noticed that a lot of shooters were it injuring their wrist. So this was my first must have accessory purchase for the shotgun. My only gripe just like about everyone else’s gripe is that it does make it a little bit more difficult to load shells. It does keep the spent shells from busting up my wrist so it is a win. I am very impressed with the construction of the deflector and the ease of installation. Well done mcarbo
