I followed the online u tube video and was able to install the trigger kit without and problem. Not as fast, but it worked out OK. I did not achieve a significant decrease in trigger pull weight as seen in the video, but some and that is good. I particularly like the trigger return spring. That makes a big difference. Good product. DIY gunsmithing makes the firearm more personal.
kit is for a worn out old mosin to repair he worn / used areas .. BUT on a like / new it is useless as it does nothing or can not fit.. plus the h.d. firing pin spring if it replaces a working one [ shorter / less pressure ] it will increase trigger pressure .. note adjust the firing pin flush as normal then back off 1/2 turn [ down ] and the trigger spring pressure will lessen and be shorter just check the pin extension out of the pin hole in the bolt head .. a heavy spring is for the hard mil-spec. primers and the cold red winters to '' work '' .. a set of lighter pin springs might be a better way for a better trigger pull .as the spring puts pressure on the sear and area you are to smooth out .. so a increase spring is the wrong direction .that way one could try asst. weights till the trigger was as light as they want but still strike the primers well enough with out backing the pin off ..the new trigger return spring keeps slipping off after 5 pulls of the trigger ..

Really nice kit that dramatically improved my trigger feel. Improved my M44's accuracy as a result.

Finally got to install the Morin trigger kit, did the trigger job as instructed in the MCARBO video at the same time. Major difference on my 1934 Tula Hex Mosin Nagant. Minor issue with a part from the Kit- Chris & Team responded fast and shipped new part fast. Can’t say enough great things about MCARBO. Just recently stumbled onto them and have both Roger SP 101 & Mosin kits now- both made a huge difference- need the KelTec PLR-16 next😎
I would recommend this product in conjunction with the video to anyone.
This is a more involved installation but it was a good improvement without altering the rifle very much. This is a great affordable upgrade.
Bought this kit to improve my trigger on my mosin. Followed the video and installed it to find that my 7lb trigger became a 8.5lb trigger. Took the kit out and did the old fashion file the sear down to achieve a lighter pull. I gave it two stars instead of one because I kept the firing pin spring which I don't know if it's any better but it's newer and clean so I'll keep it.
Everything worked great, do a little work and get great results. Well worth the time and money.
After bending the sear, polishing, and reprofiling the sear face. The rest of the kit parts really took my customers mosin trigger to the next level. The trigger came out with a light rolling feel.
I bought this kit after watching the YouTube Tutorial. I am by no means a professional gunsmith, but have no problem following a YouTube video. My only complaint about this kit is the trigger return spring. It would not stay in place on my M91 or M44. I was able to easily install everything and reassemble the rifle. However, after a few dry fires, the trigger return spring would slip off the sear spring. The rifle would still function, but the trigger return spring would not work.
Good kit but didn’t quite work for me with all the parts in the kit. I polished the mating surfaces and installed all the parts. Went from 7.5 lbs to almost 8 lb pull. Yes, increased. I saw someone else had the same issue and put the original firing pin spring back in. Bingo!! 4.75 lb pull. I’ll experiment a little more.
Although I have installed this super easy kit in my Mosin Nagant I have not had a chance to shoot the rifle just yet. The kit was very well thought out and installation couldn't be easier. With dry firing the rifle I can tell that trigger feels amazing now, no trigger slop front to back or side to side. Once the weather allows some shooting time, I will put some lead down range and get this Mosin to stretch its legs. Thank you for making this incredible upgrade kit.

My Installation took a bit longer than what I saw on the video. I think my trigger was a bit tighter than most from the beginning. this gave me the opportunity to stone out all the tooling marks on the side of the trigger to make it even smoother. Also when putting the Triger spring in it would slip under the sear spring so I put a bend in the spring to sit solidly in the middle of the sear. After polishing the sear points on the bolt and Triger assembly the trigger was much nicer and felt crisper than when i started. now i have to work on engagement of the sear points. right now there is a lot of engagement. I will tackle this problem later. it will take some time. so her are my pointers. You may need to bend the spring a little to get it to sit just right. once you have polished up the trigger washers if they still dont fit try stoning and polishing up the sides of the trigger. makes it smoother. If you do tackle engagement go slow and be patient as it will take time and over cutting means you will need a new trigger sear and have to start all over.
