Works as it should! Good product!
Brilliant idea...this has been my go to for working on my weapon since I got it...what a problem solver...the design is awesome...thanx
Works great! The shipping was fast I can honestly say every time I place an order I am satisfied with everything from the purchase to the product and the time it takes to receive it.M*CARBO Brotherhood has never let me down.
Works as designed. Made short work of replacing springs in FCU.
not the quality i would expect from M*CARBO. i have purchased plenty of their stuff for my weapons. this bench block however, is just poorly made. it is 3-D printed, one sided, and it does NOT sit flat. not happy with this product. i should give it only 1 star, but i am feeling generous.
I don't write many reviews, but I really appreciate the innovative bench block that M*CARBO developed. It helped me with my Ruger GP100 spring replacements and internal polishing. As a result of Chris' excellent how-to video, I was able to significantly smooth and reduce the trigger pull on the gun. As a novice, it took some courage to undertake the project, but the video gave me enough confidence to risk it, and I'm gratified that I did. Thanks Chris and M*CARBO. Keep up the good work!
The price is right to have on hand. It does work well. I did find the both sides to be a bit slick, so I placed a towel between the counter and the block and a shop towel between the block and firearm....this kept the firearm and tool from slipping around on the work surface, and the firearm/tool from slipping off the hole to catch the punched out pin. However, the material is forgiving, so even if the firearm slips a bit off the hole, it will go into the soft material of the block, then it is easy to lift off the firearm and place the partially removed pin into the hole to complete the pin removal.
Followed the awesome video but perhaps I got the wrong size as it didn't fit appropriately non the less the video I followed from these guys is outstanding
IF YOU CARE ABOUT GUN MAINTENANCE, CLEANING, REPAIR, INSTALLING UPGRADES AND YOU ARE A "DO IT YOURSELF" KIND OF SHOOTER THEN YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT. IT MAKES THE TASK SO MUCH EASIER!
Got this to assist with Model 70 refurbishment I was doing. Made the trigger spring swap easy.
Ordered two, good price, good quality. Worked perfectly on my PMR30 Pro bundle install. Must have for the workshop.
It is sturdy and will be a great help when I am working on my arms.
I generally use the edge of the work bench over a bake pan, but this makes it easy to get the pins out of smaller parts on the bench top. It's molded, so just a bit of block sanding helps things stay in place easier.
After losing a hammer strut from a S&W 642, that was launched somewhere around my work bench, I began looking for simple devices that solved this three-handed problem. I have used the same standard bench block for about 20 years, but I saw M*Carbo's YouTube video on installing the hammer spring with their bench block. It has a slot that is in just the right spot to allow the installation of a new spring with space to insert a paper clip in the hole at the bottom of the strut. It should be a simple job without the block, but the lost strut cost me $34.00 because of a minimum ordering requirement plus shipping from a vendor who shall remain nameless.
This thing is awesome! I don’t know how many times I have searched for pins and springs and went flying. This made all that go away. This tool is way worth the price even if you only ever take one gun apart.
I want to thank MCARBO for filling a long sought-after need!
