Ordered this mcarbo bench block when I ordered the spring kit for my Taurus G3.this little bench block works great the way they designed it with the corner holes.the small cross hole is perfect for holding the firing pin assembly while trying to disassemble or reassemble it! It’s not too big and works well! My friend also ordered their gunsmith shank installation tool with the groove in it and it was great for installing the mcarbo sear spring!

My old Maple block was just about done, so I ordered this one from M*carbo. It's a handy size, and it's got a hole or slot that will work for whatever you are trying to do, just keep turning or flipping it over, and you'll find it. I've used it on steel and polymer guns, and it hasn't left a mark on any of them. Great quality for this price point, and their customer service is without equal.

I would like to start with the fact the MCarbo Team lives up to their pledge. They not only delivered in a timely manner they kept giving updates on the shipment. As for the Gunsmith Bench Block it functioned as described. This is more rigid than the one I made of wood. Well worth the ~8 bucks. I think this would be a must have if you strip your gun for cleaning, or if you are doing a lot of mods to you gun. Great products, Great company.

I found i could use ti to compress the recoil spring to install the retaining wire on my PMR30 upgrade kit. It will also hold the punch so i can apply pressure on the trigger pin on my Glock 42. I can then move the slide lock to release the pin

Very handy in the overall design but maybe look at a possible material change like a hard rubber or something with slight grip. Overall good product
It served its purpose but could have been made better. The punches would not fit in the holes that were made for them to use as a third hand. I will be purchasing a different brand soon to replace this one.
