With the video and quality parts this was super easy to do and the results are amazing. Highly recommend buying this package. Turns your Sub 2000 into a great fire arm.
i had zero gun experience but I decided to modify my sub 2000 regardless. Was the process more difficult than it looks in the video? Yes. Was it incredibly hard? No. It's totally doable for a beginner. Just expect some natural frustration. It is all part of the learning curve for anything worthwhile. Overall it was a rewarding experience and the videos provide enough info to get the job done. Another helpful tip is you do not need the heavy duty wrench to get the c-clips on the safety off. You can use your fingers and the microtip. When i tried the wrench that came with the set it didnt actually fit the clips( I don't think Kel-Tec is consistant in their manufacturing), so I ended up damaging the cosmetics a little. It was much easier with the microtip and finger. Also had my first kit stolen upon delivery and had to wrestle woth management to get a replacement package. If your package says delivered but gets stolen off your porch, their policy is THEY WILL NOT replace it. Overall awesome product and good company. Just bought the flip site!

You need this kit if you own a Kel Tec Sub 2000. Installation requires a bit of patience.... Go slow.... Watch mCarbo EXCELLENT video. It shows every step clearly. Great product. Fast delivery. Ups the performance of rifle from good to exceptional.
I just installed this kit in my gen 2 and wow does it almost feel like a completely different carbine now the trigger isnt mushy. Install is a bit lengthy, but the video makes it pretty simple to do. Thanks for a great kit!
I bought this along with the heavier bolt handle and the buffer. What a difference! The sub2k was fun before, but a real joy after. Install took me a couple hours, but this was my first time doing something like this. Thanks for great parts and a great set of instructions, MCARBO! Next up: new rear sight.
The perfect online buying experience. Parts were high quality & vastly superior to OEM parts. Difference in trigger feel & break is significant. But best customer service ever from MCarbo. Got an email to confirm my order. Another email to confirm delivery & ask if I had any questions. A third email to check that I was able to install without issue. Online videos were clear & concise, made install a breeze. Very impressive & kind of restores my faith in American merchants. Wish they all did it this well.
Definitely worth the money. I ordered my upgrade kit shortly after purchasing my sub 2000 and the results were incredible. The trigger pull was so much better and the trigger and trigger guard feel so much better than the plastic parts that came in the sub. The polished feed ramp feeds all ammo so much better and the install was so easy with the videos that MCarbo provides. If your looking to make your sub 2000 really great thi is the upgrade for you.

I purchased all the parts for this kit individually in addition to the 2 finger charging handle before this kit was releases. I had to fabricate my own dowel to recock the hammer. As usual the quality of mcarbo parts was great and turned my sub2k into a much better gun. The trigger now pulls 3.5-4 lbs which is a big improvement over the 8lbs previously. Interacting with the trigger and trigger guard has the feel of high quality now, the old plastic parts would flex and had a cheap feel...its almost like a new gun. The flat trigger feels great, it has a wide face and the small hook at the bottom gives consistent placement. My sub2k has been 100% reliable in 200 rounds with this kit installed and I was surprised to hit a 6" gong at 100 yards pretty consistently shooting offhand with the improved trigger. Great product mcarbo, keep up the good work and fyi I vote YES to seeing a metal feed ramp for the sub2k in the future
I chose to do the All In ne Performance Trigger Job and added the Performance Trigger Bar and Stainless Steel Feed Ramp so I could do it all one time and not have to take my Sub apart again later. The quality of the parts is outstanding and the installation videos make it a DIY dream. Every detail is covered in the video so you don't have to worry about messing something up; just follow the video. Excellent parts and excellent install videos = happy customer!
I have installed the full pro trigger kit, folding rear peep sight, recoilless charging handle and buffer, bolt tube cover, and the muzzle brake. The trigger kit brought the pull down to 4.3 lbs from 8.5! Made a fun gun even better! Now waiting for the folding sight mount.

Definitely worth the upgrade on this item! There's a little bit of travel to the trigger but very clean and easy.
