Easy to install. The new sub2000 doesn't need the wrench though.
Great parts and the videos made installation so simple. I put a bunch of stuff on at once and should have done more.
Ordered the complete trigger group for a Kel Tec S2k. Watched the videos and started the install. This was such an easy install. Glad to have upgraded parts and a smoother trigger than the stock one. I didn't need the armorers wrench or the 380 glue because I have the upgraded metal collar so it would be nice to remove it for a little saving. Highly recommend the upgraded trigger group.
I followed the video and the disassembly, polishing and reassembly went very easy. The functional test proved out that I did as instructed on the video. Recommend the upgrade to anyone.
I have zero experience as an armorer, only field stripping and cleaning. After watching Chris’ video, I decided to give it a try. I watched the video and then did the work as I watched it again. My sub is new so I also had to sand the polymer down in order for the trigger linkage to move freely. It took me a while, but it works like a charm. Thanks guys for a great product Made In America!
With out a pull test I can't say what it dropped down to, but it is significantly lighter and much more crisp. Also, the aluminum trigger guard is a huge improvement.
I purchased the trigger bundle which is definitely the way to go. Video instructions are excellent and new trigger is a huge improvement on my gen2. I made the mistake of also ordering the screw and pin upgrade which i found out was already included in the bundle, the screw upgrade won't work on the stock which has smaller screws. I suggest ordering the steel feed ramp in addition to the bundle since you'll have everything dissembled. Also, be careful when screwing the collar nut back on the grip assembly since the factory grip has plastic threads.
The KEL-TEC SUB 2000 is a good rifle, but let'd be honest, it would be even greater if it came standard with some better parts. The trigger job bundle has EVERYTHING you need to make this good rifle a great one. There are no extra trips to the gun shop to buy tools you don't have for this install job, because the kit comes with everything you need to install it. I wish more companies would be like this.

The Sub 2000 is a great concept, executed to a price point. BUT - if you take the time to address those compromises you end up with a very stowable and great running carbine. This kit had everything - except the new hammer bushing - and the instruction videos help quite a bit. At the end I know my carbine in and out, could disassemble and reassemble quickly - and the parts are all top quality. Regarding the hammer bushing - get it. Mine (original) was a bit beat up and frankly the only point of concern once done with the build. I did also add the heavy charging handle, buffer, and muzzle brake. Overall - well thought out and creates a carbine you can shoot with confidence - and a much better trigger.
I got the full flat trigger kit. Followed the installation video on youtube and everything went swimmingly. But watch out for the safety detent. 4.4 lbs. on my gauge and feels so much better than stock. At a glance I didn't think I needed the extra tools, lube, and adhesive. But I'm so glad I got them. Otherwise the install would have been a chore. A worthwhile expense for everything that is included. Looking forward to trying it out at a USPSA match.
The "overhaul" kit is the only way to treat your Sub 2k. Everything you need all in one package, at one time. The wrench, grease, and dowel rod are nice finishing touches to the kit. I do absolutely recommend throwing in a polished stainless steel feed ramp- the feeding action is just silk with one. And M*Carbo has excellent customer service!
Followed along the installation video, no problems with the install. Quality parts. Great improvement in trigger feel. Worth the $.
Products were made perfectly. Installed without issue. Test fired the sub 2000. All i cam say is wow. Trigger is fantasticly smooth. Makes a fun gun even more fun to shoot
I went for the full upgrade, performance kit, charging handle, stainless feed ramp and comp. I got excellent results and would recommend the same to anyone who owns this product. Thank you to the brothers at M Carbo.
Received the all in one trigger upgrade with flat trigger. Followed the installation video, pausing when needed, and everything went together in about 2 hours. Trigger pull is excellent with the new parts. Crisp and light with minimal "staginess", it breaks like glass. Reset is a bit long, and very soft, but nothing to be concerned with. All in all, very happy!
