Recently purchased my Gen 2 and immediately installed the trigger upgrade kit. The action is smooth and less pull. Followed videos and was easy to install.
The aluminum trigger is slightly wider and each time I finished assembly, about five times, the trigger was hard to move. I had to file the polymer opening slot for the trigger. foreword side. The two halves of the grip were not made the same and I only had to fie one side. Would help if this could be added to your video. May not happen on all sub 2000's
My kit arrived quickly but there was a small glitch in one part. M-Carbo quickly emailed me a return shipping label and sent me the correct part. To me, customer service is just as important as excellent products. M-Carbo is now my #1 go-to for my Keltec 2000.
Watched the YouTube Video twice, then proceeded with upgrade with no issues. This is an awesome Trigger Upgrade for the KelTec. A much more Rigid, Crisp break with a Smoother Reset. Nailed it Fellows! Thanks Again!
Way better trigger pull and noticeable difference between before and after installation. MCARBO provides excellent step by step video instructions to make the job quick and simple.
This is an amazing trigger upgrade for the Sub2K. My results speak for themselves: 5 pulls of the factory trigger=10 lbs 10.1oz average. 5 pulls of the MCarbo Pro trigger Upgrade=4 lbs 8.8oz average and smooth trigger with no creep or over-travel! Buy this and watch the install video and you will get amazing results too!
Excellent Kit. Took me about 1 hr taking it slow to install. Works great! Significantly improved trigger pool and reliability.

Was very pleased with the Kel-tec Sub-2000 Pro Trigger Job Performance Bundle. Better yet was the excellent support provided via email and the website from M-Carbo. The installation video (very detailed trigger job) was very well done and left no questions. I highly recommend M-Carbo and the trigger bundle.
I have a gen 2 Sub2K and love it. But the trigger was terrible. Bought this kit from MCARBO and man, what a difference. The trigger is way lighter, pull is smoother and break is cleaner. It was well worth it. Not sure why the screws are provided as they appear to be exactly the same as what my gun already had. But the rest of the stuff was awesome. Not overly tricky to install but give yourself adequate time and space to do it.
If you're going to make the effort to disassemble the Sub 2K I recommend getting the combo kit. The spring and trigger upgrade alone are worth the price. The parts are solid and the spring kit/trigger upgrade gives a major improvement in the action. With a little take-up the trigger has a nice crisp break, besides the reduced pull weight. MCARBO is very customer friendly. The disassembly/reassembly can be a little tricky but the MCARBO Youtube videos are very helpful. Just go slow and follow the instructions.
The product is a must have for Sub2k owners. I felt that the installation wasn't too hard for a first timer, but you definitely need to use the video on the site. The only thing I might recommend for Mcarbo's team would be to color one of the tips on each spring so that it is easier to see how all the springs go into the weapon and easier to follow the video. Excellent product.
I was a bit worried about installing this on my own, but the instructional video was top notch! Chris was very detailed in his step by step instructions and the install went without a hitch! Parts are great quality and all the trigger feels much more responsive. Excellent product. Fast shipping. Easy to follow instructions. I'm proud to be a part of the M*CARBO Brotherhood!
Excellent craftsmanship and quality of parts. The video addresses all the possible hiccups and concerns with the KTSb2000 installation process, especially the stripped aluminum screws. Had to get a bit creative with allen wrenches but worked out. Only thing is it took me substantially longer than the 35-45 min it takes Chris in the video, BUT I'm a complete novice so I'm sure anyone with experience can knock it out. Much more study and fun/accurate to shoot now. Thanks MCarbo!
Parts arrived much sooner than expected. Quality of the products exceeded all expectations. My Sub-2000 looks, feels and performs like a completely different firearm. The greatest thing about this company was the follow-up. Received an email letting me know my order had been delivered, another with a video of easy to follow installation instructions and a later email thanking me for my business and making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Excellent products and TOP NOTCH customer service!!
I bought this kit and installed in my very early version Sub2000 and I am very pleased. The shipping got a little messed up but the customer service was very responsive and took care of my problem immediately. The installation video is excellent. I completely disassembled my gun and got it back together without issue. I've never attempted anything like that before. It feeds smoothly, the trigger is much better, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. I wish Kel Tec would start out with components this good. I'm a satisfied customer.
