I purchased this kit without the wrench. Not sure if I had other thoughts or simply made an error in selection. Advise #1: Either buy the kit with the wrench or order is separately! I used the MCARBO install video on YouTube. It was thorough and explained some of the potential pitfalls. Believe what you read and what is said about the OEM screws and pins. The screws are soft and seem to seize in the aluminum pins. I ended up cutting a slot in one with a Dremel so I could use a screwdriver to remove. The MCARBO screws and pins are a great improvement. I examined the sear and hammer seating surfaces and stoned away machining marks. Do this at your own risk. Do not change the angles and I do not recommend using a Dremel. The new metal metal feed ramp (not part of this kit) was polished and the upper metal feed 'guide' had machine marks stoned out. The trigger bar got stoned flat and then a polish job on the outside that rides against the frame. As I didn't get the kit that included the Super Lube grease, I used a wee bit of Honda moly grease on the moving parts and engagement surfaces. I took my time and all went well up to re-installing the safety detent. That part and the spring got away from me. I found the spring, but not the detent. Fortunately they are inexpensive parts from Kel Tec, with shipping costing more than the parts. I ordered 2 of each to guard against future issues. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, so I cannot give actual statistics, but the trigger pull feel is greatly improved. If you are mechanically capable, this is not a hard upgrade - but do what out for flying springs and especially that @#$% safety detent. I recommend watching the video a couple of times (speed it up a bit using YouTube settings to get past a bit of the 'talkiness'). Good luck! Steve
Traded into a Sub2000 with this kit uninstalled. Took me a short time in install it. This is a great one stop upgrade!
Great upgrade for cheap internal parts. Install videos are an absolute lifesaver, really appreciate the detailed videos
A little pricey but worth it. Tigger is great and the aluminum trigger guard is great also.
If youre going to upgrade youre assembly, get the little more expensive package that has everything included. This one is good, but you'll wish you had the extra pieces. I bought the pieces separately before installing and it made a difference. Having said that, upgraded trigger feels better than the stock assembly. Highly reccomend changing it out.
My Sub 2000 is now a fantastic weapon. Do the complete upgrade. Their videos provide a detailed step by step guide and show you all the pitfalls with do it yourself work. You do not need to be a gunsmith to do this.
was able to do all the interior upgrades to the sub2000 and shit even had one of my bolts striped just like the instructions said I would. basically if you follow the video as you go along your upgrades should go smoothly. only downside is the lifesaver rind was not in this set and I did not het one of the washers for the trigger
This is the one of the best upgrade you can get for the sub. It replaces the factory flimsy parts and makes it feel more sturdy. The trigger is 110% better then the ome flimsy one and it really reduces it from the 9 to 10 pounds to 4 pounds. Great parts and easy to do it yourself. The video's that they have are amazing and a huge help
this really improves the trigger pull, trigger pull weight goes down, much smoother than stock, no plastic trigger flex. The install video is excellent as well. A lot of little tips to make the take-down and install much easier so you don't lose any small parts.
I received the “All In One Pro Performance Trigger Job Bundle” and other misc. parts in less than a week. I never would have attempted such an upgrade on my own had I not first watched Chris’s installation video (actually I watched it at least 3 times). His video walks you through disassembly, bundle installation and reassembly step by step. Except for a few flying springs, the upgrade went extremely well with completion in just under 2-hours. My upgraded SUB-2000 Gen 2 is even more fun to shoot with a trigger pull around 5 pounds. I recommend the Pro Bundle.
I was concerned for a while during installation, but it came out super and I have never had one single issue past 1,000+ rounds.
Install the this kit, followed the video on this installation,
Very noticeable upgrade to the trigger. Smooth, nice reset. Tested at range today ( had the pleasure of shooting w/ brotherhood members Ken and Paul), and my G17 Sub 2K ran flawlessly. Great service and straightforward install, just follow the video.
This is a must upgrade to your Sub 2000. I upgraded my Gen 1 and the parts were flawless. The video were spot on! Great job guys!!
must have for the keltec sub2000, great videos and written instruction, easy install and everything fit and worked perfect
Improved performance immediately. Had a little issue with the trigger spring behind the post. Didn't have it seated properly and had to reset it. But if you follow the video exactly, all goes together well.
