Watching the video before install and having everything ready is the key. Great parts, high quality and I feel like I have a new gun. Amazing.
I had my sub for quite a while. I ordered this kit. Did the install in one evening. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Trigger is not as spongy and is nice and crisp. Folding it in half is so much easier too.
If you own this weapon do yourself a favor and invest the money in taking the sub 2000 from a really good idea to a really good weapon. Everything Mcarbo makes for them is top notch and works exactly as described. Their YouTube videos take you thru the install in great detail and the company actually gives a crap about you being satisfied. If you're hung up on the price tag, just pull the trigger man! You only live once, why live with sub-par weapons?
I actually didn't think the OEM trigger was that bad. My Gen 4 Glock 19 trigger was way worse than the S2K out of the box. I really wanted to replace the feed ramp but decided to do all of the internal mods at the same time as recommended by others. The OEM feed ramp is a failure waiting to happen. It wasn't too hard but as mentioned in the video, the sear spring has a mind of its own and I was lucky not to lose it. One thing not mentioned in the video is that if you tighten the screw at the base of the magazine well too much the magazine sticks a little. The results of the modification are a short uptake, 5.5 pound trigger pull with a clean break. The trigger reset is OK but not as good as a Glock. The barrel lockup is much tighter which is great. My only suggested improvement is to make the magazine release smaller by removing the lower half. It forces my thumb slightly lower than my normal grip and would be easy to accidentally eject the magazine if the release spring loses tension over time. I have every MCARBO S2K upgrade except for the sling mount. I have a lot of nice guns but the S2K is my favorite gun to shoot after all of the MCARBO upgrades. I hated the OEM sights and ergonomics. Now it's better than a CZ Scorpion. The thing that really makes the upgraded S2K special is that it is made in the U.S.A. Thank you MCARBO and thank you to all Vets and LEOs for your service!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, INSTALLATION WENT SMOOTH, ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE DONE THIS A FEW TIMES. TRICKY THE FIRST TIME LEARNING THE DISASSEMBLE AND REASSEMBLE PROCEDURE. BUT HEY THAT'S LIKE IT IS WITH ALL THINGS. ALL THE UPGRADE PARTS FIT PERFECT. TRIGGER PULL DOWN FROM 6.2 LBS TO 2.7 LBS GOTTA LOVE IT.
Just installed the trigger bundle along with the recoiless charging handle and stainless lower feed ramp. I haven't put it to the test yet, but I can tell from a dry fire test, it's going to be SWEET!
Easy installation and very happy with results. One of the biggest things that drew me to this company was the fact the it's owned by Veterans. Veterans know what need to happen when it comes to making sure your weapon will not fail you in a life or death situation. I can say with confidence that my Kel Tec is 100% more reliable now that i have installed the upgrade kit and the recoil buffer. Thanks for the great parts.
The Pro trigger kit along with the stainless feed ramp makes the Sub 2000 gen 2 the gun Keltec should have made. The trigger kit brings your target groups to a level a stock gun could never achieve. The feed ramp increases reliability and opens up a wide variety of ammo choices. The install video is great allowing you to determine if you have the skills to do the install before you order the kit.
Ok I purchased a $400 gun and now put over $700 to make it what I like. Typical silliness isn’t it. The install took about 2 hours and I followed the video instructions exactly. Results are a smoother 4.75 pound trigger and a nice shooting PCC. I also added the optic mount with a Holosun 510 optic, yes it’s probably over kill for this gun. The MCarbo guys provide a 1st class kit, installs easily, and is super high quality. Thank you!
Purchased bayonet spikes and barrel break to make my KSG more battle hardened weapon. Grateful MCarbo had the upgrades to make the KSG more than just a shot gun.
Very nice trigger kit, installation video was outstanding and very helpful ,trigger pull went from 8.5lbs to an average of 4.8lbs very pleased!!
I really enjoy shooting the Kel Tec, lots of fun but the trigger was not very smooth and required a fair amount of strength to fire. I ordered the Pro Trigger Kit from Mcarbo and was very impressed with the quality of the kit and in particular the step-by-step video that walked me through the process. No problems with the installation and the result is outstanding. Great customer service.

Installed trigger kit bundle on sub 2000 gen 2 . Brought trigger pull to 5 lbs 5 oz with a much better feeling trigger all around . Have a nice audible trigger reset . Great parts and great customer service . Buy with confidence . Love my sub 2000 gen 2 . The trigger kit bundle was definitely a much needed upgrade .
I have given this 5 stars because the quality of parts that I have received to make my Sub 2000 firearm much better than factory, plus the videos on how to make all the parts fit into the firearm has been a huge help since I'm new to upgrading firearms. Since now I have pretty much purchased every part available to upgrade my Kel Tec Sub 2000 and they are work wonderfully.. The trigger upgrade has to be the best since the factory one was junk.
