Like the parts, all quality stuff. Shipping was a little slower than average but still didn't take long to get the stuff.
The trigger kit bundle was an excellent upgrade to my Kel tec everything you need to make you Kel Tec a better carbine is included I would highly recommend anyone with a Kel-Tec carbine to invest in the trigger kit bundle
Recently installed this kit, along with trigger bar. Wow, what a HUGE difference. Trigger pull was 6.5 to 7.5 measured with Lyman electric scale, and dropped to consistant 3lbs. All parts were very nicely made, and finished, and fit perfectly. This kit really brings the sub2000 up to par with more costly PCC platforms. I highly recommend the addition of this kit to your carbine. Worth every penny! Mcarbo is a first-class organization!
This is a great all in one kit. It made a world of difference in the performance. Buying from Mcarbo was quick and easy.
TRIGGER JOB BUNDLE: Wish tool end that pushes two Safety C Clips was beveled down slightly, inside needs widened 1mm or 2mm, then clip is removed in 1 second without using plyers, teeth picks, paper clip, etc. All items together rated 4.9 stars. Delivery was super fast. Web site and contacts were 5 stars.
Let me start by saying that I did not buy this bundle. I had bought a metal trigger before I discovered MCARBO. I then separately bought and installed the trigger spring kit and trigger guard. I then bought the screws and grip pins separately. Long story short, save yourself the trouble. Buy this bundle and end up with almost everything you will need at one time - plus extra goodies. Then just follow the excellent Sub-2000 Trigger Job video. It is one of the clearest how-to video on the net, with only one mistake - which they show a link on how to correct. (Just remember "rounded to the rear" for the ejector and upper feed ramp and you'll be fine.) Add the double charging handle, 2 handle covers, and the extended mag release and you will have one smooth running weapon.
Ok, well I'd love to see the steel feed ramp in here too, but I was happy ordering this bundle and having all the tools at my fingertip. Trust me, if you can open everything up at once and do it all, it's easier and you aren't continuously putting stress on the weapon when it's not necessary. Everything was easy to implement in combination with the superb videos. Really love this setup.
Let me start off by saying that this is an outstanding product. The video y’all did it was great and made the install very easy. The only thing that I had a problem with was the hammer spring. I was getting light primer strikes on 5 to 6 rounds per magazine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire kit it was still getting 2 to 3 light primer strikes per magazine. When I reinstalled a Keltec hammer spring it ran 100%. What I may do is run 300 or so rounds through it and try to reinstall it and see if that works. Accuracy and write a fire with greatly increased. Thank you guys for a great product and a great video.
Using the install videos on YouTube I was able to install all the parts Mcarbo offers in about 30 minutes. Everything was high quality in the kit. Function tests are perfect, and trigger was vastly improved. Result was a 5lb and smoother trigger pull. I enjoyed the install, LOVE the improvements, and feel I received great value in the products, service, and follow up.
Bought this kit after I had already installed most of the rest of the upgrades. Install was a breeze with the online videos on this site. Ran roughly 500 rounds through it with zero hiccups. Only issue I have is now I'm gonna go broke buying ammo cause I can stop shooting this thing. Runs smooth as silk. Keep up the great work brothers.
I ordered the performance bundle and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. These parts transformed and already good rifle to it's ultimate performance. The parts are well built and are of excellent quality. I was able to install these parts in about 1.5 hours and the reason for that in the break down all the parts stayed in right cover and not in the left. I had to reorient the parts for the left side cover. Because of the excellent video I easily install the parts. I give the customer service, fast shipping and extremely quality of the parts 5 stars. M*CARBO is an outstanding company, they exceeded my expectations and they are pretty high, I'm a customer for life. I ordered the trigger kit and had it in my have in 3 days. The installation was a breeze and My sub 2000 shoots like a dream now. Couldn't ask for much more than that.
Received my upgraded Trigger Bundle, Feed Ramp, And Magazine Release in to days. Installation was easy and straightforward thanks, to The install videos. First and foremost the people at MCARBO are at the top of there profession and take pride in there customer service. The products they manufacture are second to none. The part tolerances are custom fit and manufactured of high quality materials you will not find better parts anywhere. After installation of all the parts in my Sub 2000 Gen 2 I then test fired, what a complete difference in the operation and function, the trigger pull was like shooting a whole different weapon. In closing As a certified Armor for many platforms and having owned and worked on many weapons, throughout my Law Enforcement career you guys know your stuff, Just a suggestion; You Guys at MCARBO need to produce and manufacture your own platform? Great quality parts that FIT. Support and follow up is spot on. 35 plus year USPSA shooter, retired military moving to PCC with Sub 2000. Stock trigger needs a lot of help and this group gave me a sharp 3.8 lb pull with just a little work. Worth every cent !
When I was finally able to lay hands on a Sub 2000 Gen. 2, I loaded up on MCARDO parts. This trigger upgrade made the carbine a fun gun to fire. I highly recommend it!
