Best upgrade for the S2K. The trigger function is like night and day difference. Install video was great.
Hi Chris, Yes, thanks I did receive my parts from you guys very quickly. Even though it was said they were on back order. They were still received within 5 days of ordering. I watched the installation video once before attempting to break the the gun down. Then played it while I was installing the trigger kit in my sub2000. The whole thing went flawlessly. I've already been referring friends to you guys for their upgrades. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work brother,

Bought this, installed it over 2 days (I am disabled and incompetent, lol), Now I am able to shoot this again. Not sure exactly what the trigger pull is, but it's significantly less than the factory one.
I'm this has happened to everyone. I was so excited when I bought my Sub2k, until I shot it for the first time. It was another ok gun that that I wished was better. Until I found this. With this Trigger kit and flat trigger, it became what I wanted. Easy to install and a great upgrade. Shipping was fast and easy. Without these upgrades it would have ended up in the back of the safe. Thank you Mcarbo for making this my new favorite rifle.

I am so proud and relieved that I was able to install all internal, and most external, Sub 2000 upgrades myself. I am no spring chicken and I have age related hand issues that can interfere with precise parts manipulation. As a result, I had some trouble with the internal springs and parts placement while putting it back together. In addition, I spent over $600 doing it myself with the purchase of tools and replacement of lost parts. While I had great satisfaction doing it myself, I would highly recommend that, if you are not as young as you think you are, you should let the experts at MCARBO do the installs for you. I also own a PMR30 and will definitely let MCARBO do the upgrades on it. The bottom line is that the upgraded Sub 2000 is my favorite - way to go MCARBO!!!
I bought a Kel Tec Sub 2000, primarily because I liked the idea of a compact (when stored) "truck gun" that uses Glock mags since I own a Glock pistol. The relatively low price was an attraction - and also a red flag, believing as I do that "you get what you pay for," and a gun that may be needed to save one's life needs to be one thing first - reliable. The trigger package from Mcarbo is a must have, period. I'm no gunsmith, but the installation videos from Mcarbo provide a wealth of tips and installation was successful despite being a little tricky at times. Bottom line - for $160 the Sub 2000 can be made into the rifle it should have been when it left the factory.
Man, I really want to like this upgrade but after installing on two guns I'm less than satisfied. The shape of the flat trigger is great and is a noted improvement over the stock trigger. But the upper hole for the trigger bar pin is too big and the result is felt trigger slop/play at the beginning of the pull. If this hole were to spec I would love this trigger I think. Second is the aluminum trigger guard that must be used in conjunction with the longer flat trigger. I was excited at the idea of a metal upgrade to the stock plastic guard, but the reality is that the plastic guard works better. MCarbo didn't include the correct curvature to the locking face of the latch and the result is a notchy, sticky feel when you go to fold the weapon. You have to over-travel the barrel a little to give clearance for the latch to engage. After it engages it then loosens a bit which is not ideal. If MCarbo decides to redesign this with the correct curvature then I will gladly give it another try - but for now both parts are coming off my guns and I'm going back to the stock parts. For the price paid I expect these to be truly precision as described.
I purchased the performance trigger bundle, feed ramp and polishing kit, buffer tube sleeve and recoil spacer, in other words I went for the whole nine yards. I didn't want to review the upgrades before I went to the range to see what the bottom line results were. How did my Kel-Tec 2000B (9mm) shoot? Long story short after sighting in, with the factory sights and red dot I put all shots in a 3" circle at 50 yards. For me that's pretty good. I'm confident it is capable of doing better than that with these upgrades. Was the cost worth it? YES! (IMO)
All of the upgrades included in this kit are a significant upgrade over the factory parts, and the improvement to the trigger is fantastic! Quality just oozes from all of the includes part, as soon as you take them out of the bag. I highly recommend watching the installation videos before attempting the install of the upgrades. Chris does an excellent job of demonstrating the process, and helping identify some of the trickier parts of the reassembly. Overall the install is not particularly difficult, and the results are excellent. Well worth the time and money! The only way I think this kit could be improved, would be to include a tube of blue Loctite as well.

This is my second purchase of this kit, because the first made a significant difference with my 1st modified Gen 2. Now both of my Gen 2's feel and operate with ease. Thank you for all of the support and tremendous customer service...as well as the innovation. I will continue to recommend your products to all of the Sub2k owners that I find.
Love the parts, everything clearly labeled and easily assembled based on the YT videos highlighting the install. Took me a little longer to get things in but once they're in they're fantastic. Trigger pull is outstanding and really love the replacement of the trigger itself and the guard, really solid pieces.
Totally worth the $. Took my trigger from rough and 9+lbs of pull to smooth as butter and 4+lbs. Easy to install. Take the extra time to polish everything that touches.
I bought the all in one bundle and followed the video along and was fairly painless. The armorers tool wasn’t much help I have a gen 2 so my collar screws off and the c-clips were easier to pop off with the provided Allen keys. Scratched the poly before I changed strategies, the parts provide an amazing upgrade with the feel of the trigger, and pull.
