Everything arrived super fast and thanks to the Veterans Day deal well discounted. My son and I watched the install video pausing as we went. Everything went together like butter. Firm lockup on the take down lever and clean trigger pull. Nice to do everything at once and be done with it.
This kit makes the sub2K a very nice tool. I bought the kit before I got the weapon. I knew going in that it would need the upgrades i.e. aluminum trigger and release. SS feed ramp vs plastic (no brainer) and cut the trigger pull in half. It makes for an excellent run and gun on the course keeping shots on target! MCARBO nice job!
All parts and pieces to do the trigger of the Sub2K. Night and day difference on the performance of the gun. Makes it a pleasure to shoot. Well worth the $$'s.
The factory trigger is terrible. Admit it, it's a cheap gun so it gets a cheap trigger. I was hesitant on spending the money on a cheap gun but I gambled. It is an amazing difference. Money well spent. It took a little time to take apart, install and reassemble but the time was worth the wait. I highly recommend it and in fact, I'm debating on another one to keep in my buggy.
Got the parts in today and had them installed in about an hour. World of difference in the trigger! I watched the vids a few times before the parts arrived and again while doing the replacement. Fantastic instructions btw. I've got my sub2k back together, function checked and ready for the range. Thanks for great products and all the communication! I hate it when vendors completely ignore their customers, you've gone above and beyond.
I installed the complete pro package internal kit. I can't comment on an improvement in trigger pull or operation because I installed the kit in a never fired sub 2k. I can comment on the great feeling you get knowing that you replaced a bunch of plastic parts with well machined and thought out metal parts. The stainless steel hammer bushing, trigger guard, improved assembly screws and bushings, stainless steel ramp and polishing kit. . . I am now adding things to my wish list.
Installed the pro trigger kit today, very pleased with the results. Stock pull avg. was 8#7oz. Post installation of kit, avg. 3#9.5oz. The installation video was perfect & easy to follow, no glitches. To be honest, I cheated a little & lightly stoned the sear/hammer surfaces to remove slight roughness. Made a really nice trigger..
Very good product and experience. I also did the feed ramp and buffer. Be sure you have Loktite 380 or order it with your kit. Not normally available at your hardware store. Watch install video. Super helpful. New trigger with reasonable pull is nice. Thanks MCarbo for making products to address the flaws in this unique carbine.
Everything you need to upgrade your Keltec Sub2000. The videos are a great resource for everything. I enjoyed putting everything in. The trigger spring package is so worth it.
Parts were easy to install. Outcome was awesome. I actually like shooting the sub now.
I ordered the kit and received it before I had time to install it as it shipped so fast. Everything was contained as ordered. Great quality parts and outstanding support online!!!! It took me a couple of tries to get everything together properly but with the help of the awesome online videos, it was really a no brainer. Trigger pull cleaned up great and went from a barely used stock pull of just short of 7# to just over 4#, measured with a Lyman gauge over a 6 pull average. OUTSTANDING JOB!!! Not to mention I have full confidence on future support... Keep up the good work!!!! Thank you!!!!
I just installed the Pro Performance trigger kit in my Kel-Tec SUB2000 Gen 2 G19 version and it's awesome. I thought it was pretty pricey at first, but it was worth it. I also added the stainless steel feed ramp, which I highly polished as recommended. The trigger and overall feel is so much better than stock. I put 200rds of WWB through it at the range today without a single malfunction. I didn't have any malfunctions with it completely stock, but it's just so much more enjoyable to shoot now. I was chewing the X-ring out of targets at 25yds. That's darned good shooting for me. Thanks to MCARBO, I love this little carbine even more. Highly recommended.
Excellent kit, easy installation.
Did all of the upgrades at once. I mean all of the upgrades. It’s a new gun. Trigger pull is crisp, folding and unfolding has an audible and reassuring click, polished feed ramp to a mirror finish. I hated shooting this gun but now it’s my favorite.
Very happy with the new parts. Installed easily with a minimum of impolite words. Function is near perfect. Having done a prior fluff and buff my trigger pull went to just over four pounds. The flat trigger did touch the guard/ folding lever when pulled, so had to remove a bit of the bottom of the trigger. That was the only glitch. Other than the flat trigger, the fit and finish were correct. The online instructional videos were a help as well. All in all, well done M Carbo!
